I’ve had my toyota heads done here at least 3 times in the last 36 months(Good work). They all of sudden no longer service toyota heads or anything non American made. I am not sure why .

It must be nice when your business is going so well you can afford to turn away customers with a hard "no". I have a sway bar from a Jeep (Which is roughly the size of a pool-stick and is already removed from the vehicle). The sway bar has a bolt attached that I can't break loose. The answer from this high performance machine shop "naw, no, we don't do stuff like that. We only work on engines". The last time I checked, the sway bar is only about 3 inches from the engine. Not to mention the bar is already out of the Jeep. With the proper tools (the kind one might find at a machine shop) this should be a 5 minute job. Love the customer service and attention to detail this shop offers. Getting harder and harder to find quality machine shops in Alaska, UHP got my short block for my LS build done fast and for a great price. These guys also Dyno tune and do custom performance modifications to your car or truck. Chris and his team have years of experience in the industry and their quality of work shows this. Even though they handle performance engine builds they didn't hesitate to take a look at a forklift cylinder head that needed checked for sealing and warpage. They had it cleaned up, checked, and returned to us in just 3 days. Would use them again for sure.

Awesome machine shop! They did a 6.7 Cummins head for me that needed a resurface, and the quality of work was top notch. The staff was awesome from start to finish!

brought my head in april to get the cams clearanced. They end up not doing any paper work on it and was sitting on their shelf for months until i called in halfway into july asking where is it.(and saying that you were moving isn't a excuse for not having a work order when i brought it in.) And then when I picked it up there wasn't even any paperwork for it just a invoice with the date when I called them in July probably realizing they screwed up. Left shavings and overall grittiness after assembly so had to take it apart and re clean it.

Want to waste your money here,100$ block inspection without magna fluxing block. Only to get lied to. Go to ADM in palmer. Better, faster and no bs. Plus they do first gen sbc

UHP provided us with the best service hands down over any shop we have ever used. It was a tall order, spur of the moment, and difficult task, but UHP and their outstanding staff came through for us in a big way!
