There is absolutely no decent selection of meat to choose from. Everything in here I can get out of Kroger or Food Lion.
Not the mention, the place looks and feels dead when you walk in.

The people are so nice and helpful and the products are incredibly and well priced. The sausage my kids fight for literally. The burgers are delicious the bacon exceptional. On Friday and SAT they this half off sale for certain things

Love the smoked garlic polish sausages. They have a nice juicy pop when you bite into them and a great taste. Staff is very friendly as well. Best place in the area to get amazing meats at a reasonable price.

Clean, organized and adequately stocked selection of meats at a moderate price made for an enjoyable shopping experience.

The manager/ customer service worker was pleasant and answered all of my questions pertaining to the inventory of meats at Uncle Nick's in a professional and amicable way.

I just love this place. I always find an excellent bargain for my money. The meat is delicious. Sometimes they don't carry the same inventory at all times, but I still love it. Such a bargain! And the staff is very helpful and willing to help you locate what you're looking for.

I needed a butcher that might have the cut of beef I was looking for, so I tried coming here. I shouldn't have bothered! The first address I tried was the warehouse, even though it had a store front. I was met with a locked door and no sign, a delivery guy that happened to be there said to try around the side. Eventually a guy came out the front (the butcher by the looks of him) and I was told to go to the location next to MetroPCS near Walmart. I get to the store, which was in a sketchy strip mall with a hard to notice sign, and it was locked with no one inside, in the middle of the day! I finally saw a sign on the floor inside that said "be back soon". I stood waiting for awhile since I had already gone way out of the way to get there. About 10 min later a girl comes from out of the MetroPCS store, unlocks the door but hardly says 2 words to me. I got the impression I was imposing on her social hour. When I asked if they had the slice of meat I was looking for, she said I would have to call the warehouse! I looked around and all they had were a bunch of almost empty chest freezers, several with unorganized boxes partially opened saying to keep out. The other freezers had iced over meat and seafood in bags, and it wasn't even normal stuff, like feet and tails. Complete waste of time. I will never go back.

Surprised that their bulk frozen steaks are great to eat medium rare and I'm really picky. Best quality to price ratio locally. Staff is awesome and the establishment is clean and easy to navigate. They do fresh cuts on Saturday from 1-4pm and can order products that they dont have for you (PORK BELLY). Don't buy your meat anywhere else in hampton roads. Only downside is I lived here for 3 years and have never heard about it I guess it just opened? 🤣

This was my first visit to Uncle Nick's. I was not surprised that most of the meat was frozen as I had read that. I was happy to learn that the butcher would be there on Saturday doing custom cuts of fresh beef. The employee working was super friendly and helpful.
