I had the pleasure of getting a suit and shirt made by Umberto for my wedding, and I can't recommend him enough. He is a master of his craft, and he knows how to make a suit that fits perfectly and looks amazing. I have broad shoulders and a fit build with long arms (not to mention one arm is a bit longer than the other), so off the rack suits never fit me well. Umberto took my measurements and created a suit that was tailored to my body and style. The suit fit is amazing, and it made me feel confident and comfortable on my big day. The quality of the fabric and the stitching is also superb, and the suit has lasted me for years. Even when I gained a little weight, he was able to let it out so it once again fits perfectly. I can't say enough how happy I am with the experience with Maestro Umberto. He is truly a gentleman and a master tailor. Walking into his shop gave me a feeling of comfort and ease. Maestro Umberto took time to understand exactly what I was looking for. We took time choosing the fabrics for my suit from a large variety of options present in his shop. He was precise in taking measurements and identified asymmetries in my body which he would compensate for in his tailoring.
The finished product is amazing. I was shocked with how comfortable the suit was the first time I tried it on. I had become accustomed to ready to wear suits that never moved with my body. The suit that Maestro Umberto made for me felt almost weightless and moved in concert with my body. I wore it for the first time at my daughter's wedding and received many compliments including being told that it was the most beautiful suit that one of our guests had ever seen.

So the day finally arrived!!! The event was my cousin wedding, now I wasn't as beautiful as her; but I definitely got the 2nd most attention in the room!! The suit fit, feel, and look were just perfect. If anyone is on the fence about purchasing a suit/jacket/pants/shirt from Umberto do it you will not regret it.

I purchased my first custom shirt from Umberto and there is nothing like it. He is a master tailor from Italy so I knew right away I would be in the best hands. I have struggled for years finding the right fit and Umberto sized me up with precision and we selected the fabric and the pattern. After I tried the shirt on I bought two pants and a sport coat. I am extremely satisfied with Umberto and his expertise in custom tailoring. All measurements were perfect, fittings went flawlessly, and every detail was meticulously thought through. I have recently purchased a tuxedo, tuxedo shirt, and sport jacket. I am 6’ 4” and the proper fitting of clothing has always been an issue with me. The garments made by Umberto fit beautifully. Once measured, reordering is very simple. There are many fabrics to choose from, I presently have a suit on order and I selected a quality wool fabric from Italy. Additionally, Umberto’s place of business is well organized, efficiently run and a comfortable environment. Umberto is truly a master of bespoke tailoring and I highly recommend him.
