These guys did a job for me they normally don’t do. I have a 2011 F150 with a 5.0 in it. They installed my long tube headers and did an amazing job, also the run down of labor was very detailed and they were very honest about what had to be done and what they had to swap out for the install to work. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone that’s has a project they’re willing to tackle. Thanks tier 1!!

Took a car there for a major build that they said they could finish in 3 months... 9 months later it wasnt even close to being 50% complete. I ended up picking it up because I was moving accross the country and on the day I was picking it up they were scrambling to finish up the hot side of the turbo kit which was one single pipe🤦‍♂️

These guys are honest and straightforward in their communication. I had an issue with my air bag system that left me dependent on the dealer rather than my usual mechanic. I found myself getting jerked around by Subaru Spokane with long delays, miscommunication, issues not communicated properly, exorbitant bills and quotes, and unnecessary recommendations.

Tier 1 quickly identified the possible problems, clearly disclosed their suspicions, and gave me solid advice for addressing the air bag system. Because the ultimate solution ended up being costly and their initial attempts to troubleshoot to avoid major expense failed, they charged me half their typical diagnostic rate and nothing at all for the part they ordered from the wrecking yard. I was not pressured to fix it and was told it may not be worth the cost relative to the value of the vehicle. When I was leaving, they noticed my vehicle was low on oil and topped it off.

While I'm annoyed that my air bag system is probably not worth fixing, I know what the problem is and, without question, I know who I will go to for repair if I decide to address this issue. This whole scenario made me realize that much of the stress of vehicle repair for me has little to do with the actual cost and so much more to do with trust. It sucks to feel like you are just a number with a bank account. It sucks to know someone is talking you up because they get paid via commission. It sucks to have someone talk around your concerns because they don't have the answers you need and the one hand only talks to the other after your money is on the table and your car on the lift.

Because these guys are so above board and transparent, and demonstrate that they care about me as a whole person, I would gladly drive to the other side of Spokane to Tier 1 rather than a couple of blocks to Subaru Spokane to address this kind of issue.

I’ve been taking my 20-year old Subaru to Tier 1 for years and simply won’t take it anywhere else. I make the drive from North Spokane to Liberty Lake just to take my car to Tier 1. Tier 1 is top-notch in service, quality, and pricing. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for highly-skilled Subaru service, for anything from basic maintenance to full builds.

I have been to this shop multiple times for different issues with my car and chase and his team always go above and beyond. They are extremely knowledgeable and will walk you through the entire process. They will be straightforward with what needs to be done now and what can wait, they don't try to sell you a whole bunch of unnecessary repairs. Very reasonable rates on diagnosis/labor and can even get parts at a great price. I would recommend this shop to anybody for anything from general maintenance to full on race car builds.
