Food is limited but very good. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The beer is good but the bourbon is better. Came back again. They added a few new items to the menu. The 40 mile Philly was really good so was the beer. I also had to pick up a few bottles of the bourbon. The Hatch is very good. Sad to see that they had a fire and it burnt down a few buildings.

This building started out as Wild Wolf, but have been remodeled and is now Three Notch'd Brewery, Distillery and Craft Kitchen. Overall they've definitely improved the overall layout of the brewery/restaurant with a more open floor plan and a better bar area. Also as the name implies this is both a brewery and distillery. We did 2 flights of 4 so that we could try everything on tap for that day. They have a little bit of every thing from IPA's, lagers, sours, brown, and a stout so you definitely will not have a problem finding a beer you like. My wife's favorite was the Strawberry Bloom Wheat Ale and mine was the No Veto English Brown Ale although the S'mores Stout was a very close 2nd place. They have their own ABC store and distillery onsite, which is focused on Bourbon and Whiskey so don't expect to find any Vodyka, Gin, Rum, etc. We did a flight of 3 to taste what they had in stock, but the Declarations whiskey (single malt) is only for sale to their club members. Of those 3 my favorite was definitely the Bourbon. They have a very good kitchen here with a pretty varied menu along with good indoor and outstanding outdoor seating.

Looks like it's gonna shape up to be a nice spot for gathering with your people with food and tasty beverages. From what I understand, it's only been open for 3-4 weeks. Our waiter told us new things, food and drink wise are coming to the menu. The place is nice, with outdoor seating for your favorite 4-legged friend! Provided they are good with others. The inside looked nice. Outside was a shop to buy shirts, glassware, and even dog water bowls! There was also cool water features like a small pond and working water wheel. They have another building outside for private events. The staff was great. They were a little busy but when they got to ya, they took the time to pay attention to you and your order, so good job, even if they brought me the wrong drink, they still done well.
The food was good. Fries were typical affair, but served in a cool little basket. The burger was a little better than average, but not by much. The pork rind nachos were amazingly good. As always, three notched beers are excellent. Definitely worth going for the beer, the nachos, and a nice place to hang out with family and friends. Go check them out!
Update. The pork skin nachos are off the menu.😢 The beer is still good, as is the service. The food is good, but I have cold fries delivered on two separate occasions now. Everyone in the party of 4 had cold fries. The place still has an awesome atmosphere, and it's dog friendly. Still definitely worth having a meal there and trying a tasty brew, like local lager!

Amazing selection of seasonal and year around local drafts. Beer flights available. Food and service is great ! The view is incredible from this cabin and farm style brewey. Nice garden and gazebo area. Plenty parking, and outdoor access available. This location can also be reserved for special occasions and celebrations.

We decided to stop for a late lunch while driving through. It was our first time at any of their locations. We were greeted promptly and politely, then given a choice from a few different tables.
The menu consisted of pub fare, and it wasn't bad by any stretch of the imagination. In fact their truffle fries were amazing. The BBQ sandwich was good, but not out of this world. The biggest detractor is price. example: over a dollar per pretzel bite.
However, their beer selection was great. Some folks commenting here didn't care for it. Bah, the beer was fantastic. Grab a flight if you can. I particularly loved their 40 mile IPA and the Biggie S'mores imperial stout. I never did check to see if they offer growlers....

You cannot go wrong with the views off 151. Three Notch'd has great views out back with Adirondack chairs, benches and a small play area for kids. There are cabanas available for rent (since we were there right after a rain, we may have commandeered an abandoned fire pit.)
The food was decent, we started with some onion rings that were great. t
The pulled pork sandwich did not impress, but it was fine. The chili was very good. The fish and chips had a great batter and what appeared to be fresh cut fries.
Oh, and they have beer....and liquor. Of all the breweries on the 151 corridor, Three Notch'd has the most consistently good options. I did not know they had the distillery until coming by, but I didn't try anything to see how it holds up

This was my second trip to Three Notch'd in Nellysford. Both times were enjoyable, and the food was great. I ordered the 40- mile Philly and they were happy to modify it to leave off the bread and just put it over fries. 😋

The service was friendly and timely. It's family and dog friendly if you are looking for that, but we were able to sit on the closed in porch area for a bit of privacy. We appreciated that as well.

I am not much of a beer drinker, so I can't say much about the beer. I did try a sample of their Notorious Imperial Stout, and it was quite good.

Happy to have this option here in the County and look forward to going again soon.

My husband and I have been frequenting this location since opening. We always get takeout and the food is always fresh, hot, and delicious! The staff is always kind and friendly (Ben and Tanya specifically are always professional, personable, and a pleasure to chat with.) Highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken Salad, 40-mile Philly, and Truffle fries, we continue to try other items but these are our definite favorites.
