You know how there’s a day-and-night difference in taste between garden tomatoes and store bought? Thoroughfare is the garden tomato of tempeh. Creamy and rich. I crave this tempeh. They serve it at Old Town Cafe as a side, and you can always grab it frozen from the co-op. Thaws quickly and loses none of its flavor.

I’ve had a lot of tempeh but this is *the absolute best* tempeh ever! It actually has flavor!! These people are also some of the nicest humans on earth, always sharing tasty recipes with beautiful photos and easy to follow directions. When they offer other things like their black eyed pea hummus I always buy a few… one for sharing and one for myself. Seriously, I love this tempeh- made locally with quality ingredients - and it makes my body feel great!
