We went to see the production of footloose on the first stop in our road trip vacation. It was very good and I thought they did a great job in their adaptation of the motion picture.

Only five miles from the interstate 64, this is an easy and great place to visit. Amazing views with access to some great trails. There is also some neat CCC history at this location as well. Definitely worth the drive to check out!

Beautiful setting. The live bluegrass music before the show was very good. We saw the Hatfield and McCoy show. They did not sugarcoat it. There was a lot of violent shooting and killing. I would not recommend for children or people who are easily traumatized. There are also excessive love scenes. And when they have a funeral there is almost satanic dancing. The ending sort of redeems it when some of them repent for the killing. It is an interesting story, but is by no means a family show.

A storm across the mountain knocked out/slowed down their internet and complicated digital ticketing. After a pretty late start, they did a great job. Acting and scenery were good. I kinda felt like they had attempted to 'go big' without the resources. I would recommend a 20%-30% smaller production.
