Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. The Yardbird, large fries were ordered. The Yardbird comes in either original or spicy (buffalo) and we ordered the spicy without regrets.

The wife and I split the sandwich and fries as the portions were plenty. The chicken was slow cooker tender on the inside with a crispy battered exterior topped with buffalo sauce and pickles slices on a bakery fresh bun.

We love the Town of Marshall as it is a small town located between 50 and 66. The Whole Ox is a full service deli that has local meats and goods and is definitely worth getting off of 66 for.

Thank you to the outstanding staff that made are first visit memorable. Give them a try folks, you won’t be disappointed.

Food is fresh and delicious. It is a pretty busy market and they have minimal seating, that is something to consider. The waiting time is a bit long but as long as you know that coming in it will be fine. The fries were freshly cut and made, burger was amazing.

While I haven't shopped the butcher, the hot food was delicious.

We had some visitors and decided to give this a try. Luckily it was a quiet day since there's not a lot of seating. My wife and I both went with The Big Ox and split an order of fries. It's a quality burger and quite filling. Though the menu isn't that large, I'm trying to figure out how to decide on ordering something other than a burger!

Great cheeseburgers, nice atmosphere, service was good as well. 1st time trying this place out. The fries were really good and flavorful. Parking on the street is free, and they have parking in the back as well. They seem to be very clean from what I saw.

It was our first of trying take out .
Three of us decided to order carry out at about 6:10 pm .
We ordered two burgers and one chicken sandwich .
After getting home we noticed we had one burger , one chicken and one BBQ Sandwich .
We called to let them know of their mistake and they said they had given us someone else order .
We did not want to drive back so we decided to settle with what we had .
Once we begin to eat , we notice the BBQ WAS COLD AND DRY , so we decided to call back the Ox and we requested one burger exchange and add another burger .
Keep in mind this was only 10 mins or less in between calls .
After our request we were told can’t do it as it’s too late and they had no more buns .
No apology for their mistake other than saying we are sorry we can’t provide .
The time was about 15 mins before they closed .
Overall poor service and a we don’t care attitude .
Was expecting better from a highly rated local business

We stopped by for a quick meal and were quite impressed. The burger was delicious and you could taste the freshness of the meat. The hand cut home style fries were amazing. The staff definitely made us feel like family. It may have been our first visit but absolutely will not be our last.

Visited on the 4th of July. We ordered a burger and the fried chicken on a bun and shared an order of fries. We loved the Chicken and the fries. The burger was disappointing as it reminded me of an old Wendy's commercial "where's the B...". Staff was very pleasant and the place was busy with customers. It seems to have a following. If I return, I will just order the chicken again.
