I enjoyed living here for the most part. Just beware if you’re looking to rent on the second floor, the basketball court can be heard in the units above. It’s loud and annoying. Also you may or may not get hit with a basketball if you workout in the gym since the treadmills are on the court.
Loved the community events also!

Pretty good place, if not a bit pricey.

Location is great being in a walkable neighborhood and literally next to the train station (not too much noise either).

Had a great experience with the people who work here. The people who maintain and clean the building are very nice and diligent. Erik the leasing agent is a great dude and was very accommodating to us.

Gym is good if you play basketball and lift.

The new manager and management is horrible - so many people leaving myself included. Dog pee now everywhere. Marajuana smell in the hallways. Management does not care and if you have a package left for more than one day they will harass you over it. Manager cares more about his own social life and is NEVER in the office than taking care of tenants. This place is going down hill. Not worth the money at all - check out Harbourside.

Working with Erik, the agent for the building, was incredibly easy. He showed us around The Platform and all the amenities. From the offices, gym, kitchen, pool room, lounge, roof, and grill - everything is spotless, well considered, and neat. Would 10/10 recommend for anyone looking at a coworking space. Everyone that works and lives here is kind and respectful. The building is safe and has a great garage where my motorcycle can be secured. Bonus points for being right next to the train station, saves me a commute and makes it easy on the days I need to travel into the city 🙂

The Platform is a great place to live! The convenience to the Metro-North station and downtown SoNo is priceless. The amenities are great and the building is very quiet, despite its proximity to the train station. The team is also fantastic--particularly Erik who runs the building efficiently but is also super friendly and helpful. I had to move for work, otherwise I would have stayed!

Lived there very briefly, but had nothing but positive experiences. All appliances, common areas, and utilities are new/updated. Not the safest neighborhood right around the property, but felt very safe as there are multiple fob checkpoints to get to resident levels and into common areas. Worked with Erik a lot at the front desk and he was very easy to communicate with before, during, and after our time there. Location is right across the street from the train station and a short walk away from nightlife too! 10/10 experience, wish I was able to stay longer.

I have lived here for almost a year, and it is by far the most wonderful apartment building I have ever lived in. I love it! Maintenance is easily accessible, very responsive, and the team goes out of their way to help with even small requests. There are always maintenance crew members cleaning around the building and courtyards; they do a great job keeping the common spaces, halls, elevators, and garages clean. We recently had an indoor craft market on a Saturday in our lobby with great local vendors. The location couldn't be more convenient to the train station; I can walk from my apartment to the platform on the NYC-bound side in under 5 minutes. Neighbors are friendly and say "hello" when passing. Erik and Tim and the management team genuinely care about the tenants and they go out of their way to help us. I can't recommend this community enough.

Loved my stay here but BE DILIGENT. The communication wasn’t the best - many times I had to follow up twice or three times to get an answer on questions related to my apartment and they made a mistake in my lease agreement that they will not own up to. It’s ultimately cost me my security deposit so make sure you’re speaking up as soon as possible!
