We chose The Ledges for 10 months. They are unique in that they don’t require a full year. The rent amount changes with the length term. This complex is very large! Thankfully, the 4+ story apartments have elevators. These are photos of move out day. It's the floor plan with the bathroom and washer/dryer in the bedroom. It's definitely a plus having that W/D in the unit. Can you imagine hauling that laundry everywhere? Bathroom in primary bedroom, not the best, but it's all they had when we signed. If you don't entertain much, it shouldn't be a problem because people won't need to access your room to hit the bathroom. The apartment was located in the building way in the back. It had a balcony and view of a rock cliff with gorgeous trees. The sun rose every morning there. Beautiful! Uber always had trouble finding the unit.
While we lived there, AC and power went out a couple of times. Yes, it was hot! Thankfully, the maintenance guys at The Ledges ROCK! They work hard to please! Especially in the winter! They keep the grounds meticulous and parking lot is pretty much ice-free in winter! Closer to the entrance there is a building for trash and all the recycling. Oh....there's a community center with a gym, too. They have a pool! Doggie areas! Nature trails! Walking distance to Aldi, Dollar Tree and so much more! Great location! There's even another nature walking trail just down the street! Cheryl, Luis and the staff have always been super! So, feel confident you're speaking with professionals! The location is fantastic, offering easy access to stores and just a short drive from the beach. The maintenance team is incredibly responsive, addressing any issues promptly and efficiently, even after hours. Everyone at the office is always friendly and helpful, making the community feel welcoming and well-managed. Additionally, the swimming pool is a highlight, providing a great place to relax and unwind. Staying at The Ledges truly offers comfortable and enjoyable living experience.

We’ve lived at the Ledges for almost 3 years in both an apartment and a townhome. From day 1, the team at the Ledges have been great, they have been very welcoming, kind and polite. The maintenance team are also great and resolve any issue really fast and without any fuss, they really are great people. The facilities are also great, especially the pool in summer - it’s kept to a high standard. I’d recommend the Ledges to anyone relocating to Groton - we’re really happy here.

I wish I could say good things about The Ledges, but I would be lying. Online they look great, but unfortunately it feels as if they pay people to write good reviews. Staff is inattentive to basic needs. Maintenance is unprofessional and they do not fix common area problems. The office is unprofessional and does not care about tenants well-being nor do they care to respond to simple questions. They favor tenants. Stay clear, don’t get trapped by the pretty pictures.

I have been living at the Ledges apartment community for 4 years now, and I couldn't be happier with my experience here. From the moment I moved in, the level of service and care from the staff has been exceptional.

Luis in the office is truly a gem. He is always so responsive and pleasant, making every interaction a joy. Whether it's handling paperwork or addressing any questions I have, Luis along with Gabrielle and Nayonni are consistently professional and friendly, making me feel valued as a resident.

The maintenance team (Victor, Hugo, and Jesus) deserves special recognition as well. They are incredibly attentive and efficient, always going above and beyond to ensure that any issues are resolved quickly. It's clear they take pride in their work, and their dedication shows in the well-maintained condition of the community.

Thanks to the efforts of Luis, Gabrielle, Nayonni, Victor, Hugo, and Jesus, I am proud to call the Ledges my home. Their commitment to providing excellent service makes living here a truly enjoyable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend the Ledges to anyone looking for a welcoming and well-managed community.

After doing lots of research last June 2024 and visiting various options in the Groton area, we decided on The Ledges with a one year lease starting August 2024. We opted for the largest one bedroom available as it’s just the two of us. We chose The Ledges based on the amenities (salt water pool, outdoor year round gas grills, fire pit, playground, clubhouse with free coffee/tea, business center, 2 fitness center, walking trail) but honestly it was the leasing office staff and maintenance that sealed the deal. We love it here so much that we are now transferring out lease to a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath with 2 car garage townhome and added another 18 months to the lease. We feel safe with the locked entries to all buildings, the grounds are meticulously kept and the leasing office plus maintenance are there for you if anything breaks or you have any kind of questions. We live the location as it is walking distance to a variety of shopping options, close to 95 and if you choose a building along the walking path, it is quiet! Very little road noise and we back up to woods.

I’m amazed at how awesome living at The Ledges for nearly 14 years has been. The office staff is incredibly helpful and competent! i have lived at the ledges for close to 5 years now and still feel lucky to be in my apartment! Luis in the office could not be nicer and easier to communicate with! the maintenance staff has never been anything other than kind and approachable! i was not planning on spending 5 years here but it truly is the best complex in the area and until i’m able to purchase my first home i’m happy to stay here!
