This company is not interested in helping their customers. We are at the tail end a huge project we awarded them and our main TV's still don't work after being open five months. I've only seen the project manager, Chris, once and he was not helpful or friendly. I must say the actual technicians do their best to help, but are only as helpful as their leadership will allow. They also had us sign a monitoring agreement for services that they are not even offering, so we are being charged more than agreed upon and making it our problem. Would not recommend for large costly projects.

As an IT Consultant (20 years experience) who manages and maintains networks across the metro area, I was charged with installing a residential wireless network for a NEWLY constructed apartment building, to which SMG was the installer (contracted by the general contractor) of the low voltage CAT 5e wiring in this building. When I came to do my work, I wasted HOURS trying to figure where any of the wiring went, as nothing was labeled or documented. Once I figured out where some of the ports I needed ran to and from, I tried connecting my equipment to them, only to get no interconnection of the switches and access points. Exasperated, I started testing the ports and cables for continuity, 60% of the ones I tested failed on pin outs (which is why interconnectivity was failing between my equipment) When I was put into contact with a manager at SMG by the General Contractor of the building, he was very kind an apologetic, and they came out to fix it. Well... they fixed a large portion of it, but ultimately, there are ports that they just marked out with an x as unusable. The ports have no linear numerical order for numbering/order (very chaotic and unorganized), thus I still had to waste my time translating the wall ports to the punch down panel using a PDF document to see what went where. Very poor networking, especially for a brand new building. Seeing as they were paid to do this job from the beginning, I would have expected more integrity and professionalism by having them fix ALL of it. Not just portions and putting X's on the punch down panels, for that port being unusable. I've seen plenty of chaotic wiring in my 20 years as an IT person, but this one took the cake as the worst wiring job I've ever seen (new or old)! Poor workmanship, poor quality, lack of integrity on something they have been paid to install.

Since I originally posted this review (about 1.5 years ago), I have had the "pleasure" of working at/on another building south of Broadway that SMG was responsible for wiring, completely separate from above.... and guess what? SAME RESULTS! Not a single port is labeled on either the punch down panel or the wall plates, and numerous ports fail pinout continuity tests. See the pictures of a few, and they are not fixable at this point as they go 5 floors. I cannot stress enough, you will get horrible quality and untested low voltage wiring work with this company!

Agressive and unprofessional drivers. The driver of a Systems Management Group Suburban Plate BGI 199 cut me off at a speed well above the posted speed limit on I-25. With no regard to the safety of other motorist. If his behavior is any indication of a level of professionalism to expect I would seek doing business elsewhere

As a property manager, I depend on my partnerships with vendors. SMG has been nothing short of absolutely amazing! The staff never ceases to EXCEED any and all expectations we have. Important staff to note: Heather, Sequoia, and Joshua! You guys are seriously amazing, and take all of the unexpected turns I throw at you! Cannot thank you enough for what you do for my and my property!

SMG has been wonderful to work with both both from a construction and operations perspective. They respond timely to emails/phone calls and do a very good job with install and repairs. They are my go to low volt company and I would recommend them to anyone.

Extremely unprofessional, was called by a manager who told me I was 1 of 700 other customers just like myself what did I want them to do. I manage an apartment community and they installed our access system for our doors. When the mag lock broke in July they sent the third party company they used to install and they ordered the wrong part for the repair we are now more than 3 months in and still not repaired and I keep getting the run arround for answers. Fair warning to future consumers go elsewhere even if it is a little more expensive; SMG doesn't care about its customers after they have taken their money.

They have apprentice installers installing WITH OUT the supervision of a journeyman ON SITE in Denver! Stay away from utilizing this company, you will have your wiring installed against code and incorrectly. SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT GROUP Company does not provide proper ppe/tools/ladders per osha standards to their employees. They also make the employees sign a equiptment liability waiver voiding employees protection from osha laws, if employee does not sign waiver they find a reason to let them go then spread slander on the ex-employee saying they did absolutely no work.
