I've been on a hot air balloon ride in Turkey 8 years ago to see sunrise! I was so excited to bring my 3 children 7,4 and 2 by myself drove from west haven to guilford for 35 mins! When I first saw the hot air balloons from parking it was huge! When we got in the entrance, wow it was beautiful! I'm so happy I brought my kids to see it for themselves! These hot air balloons don't fly away they just go up and then come down! But there are bounce houses which have to pay! There are magic show which is free! There are lots of food vendors and the popcorns are delicious! We didn't try other food because is too long line to wait! I didn't bring any chairs because no stroller with me only brought a mat! It was easy and light! We stayed till 8:40 and saw the laser show! It was wonderful experience for me and my kids!

We love coming to the Guilford Fair. A slice out of history with competitions in vegetables, pies, preserves, quilts, crafts,, etc. Our kids enjoyed entering items when they were young. Always enjoy the horse and oxen pulls. Gives such an appreciation for how amazing these animals are and how hard framing was without machinery. Plenty of food, craft beer and music.

Great fair, kids love the rides, it's a lot of fun, many food places to pick from.
I love the band they had this year, Meet Loaf, that band was amazing 👏 a lot of fun and great singers.
In general the Guilford fair is always a hit.

Fee $15 I think was a great fee so they can pay to the Mariachi and Wrestlers. A lot of options for eat (Tacos, nachos, elotes, kebabs, churros, ice creams, etc), drinks (beers, margaritas, hard seltzer,shots), a lot of local bussines (sauces, jams, syrup,etc). An small trolley for $5 for kids and adults.

Something that started way back in the mid 1800's and still thrives today has to be good, right? No DOUBT! Super fun for anyone, with tons of food options and plenty of livestock to see. Plus there's an opportunity to appreciate the local community and their commitment to keeping Guilford's tremendous history alive. Absolutely love the work of the children as well as the local produce picking contest. Simply can't miss this fair!

Great events and rides and food! The animals are great to see and their owners/handlers are very knowledgeable. A fun time for everyone!
