From made from scratch biscuits, home made chicken and dumplings to hand patted burgers, Kristy (the owner) puts her heart and soul into everything she does here. Often you will find family helping her and see her kids behind the counters learning so many life skills of cooking, cleaning, prepping and customer service.

Not only does she offer amazing meals but she sells beef and pork from her families farm so you're getting local, raised beef.

Kristy and her crew also offer catering for all events and after 6 years of non-stop catering, her food and services are top-notch. She offers a guarantee of high quality ingredients and always service with a smile.

Love stopping into this little gem of a store anytime we are out in Sugar Grove. This family run, God centered business should be a must stop item on everyone's list.

I attended a shower recently where sandwiches from this place were served. The sandwiches themselves were mediocre at best. Some sandwiches had a skimpy amount of meat or chicken salad on them and the lettuce was wilted and very unappealing. The wraps were soggy on the bottom. To make matters worse the cost for the sandwich trays was outrageously overpriced. Poor quality and very much overpriced! I'd pass on this place.

Love this restaurant and market! Delicious home cooked meals, sliced to order cold cuts, fresh beef and port, jellies, beef jerky, ice cream….so much more. Family owned - make sure you stop at this special market. We love the food, the atmosphere, and most importantly, the people!

Kristy did an amazing job creating a grazing board for my daughter’s wedding. It was truly a magnificent masterpiece! So many compliments I wish she could have heard!! She also catered a Farewell Brunch of homemade biscuits & burritos, fresh fruit & yogurt bar with delicious toppings. She even supplied the beautiful mismatched China. We all enjoyed this gathering so much & thank Kristy for her amazing food & service!

I called to check out Dinner along with the specials for today and must say the food was amazing, customer service over the top. Not only did I pick up dinner and deserts for the family but also purchased some beef for tomorrows dinner. I am very impressed with the pricing and recommend shop locally! The loaded baked potato with barbecue, cheese, bacon, sour cream along with the fried chicken provalone Sub was outstanding. I must say the Blueberry and Raspberry Pie completed our meal. What a gem hidden in the mountains of Sugar Grove!

We stayed upstairs at the Air B&B for a wedding in town and enjoyed two dinners here and one amazing breakfast. Very accommodating and helpful to out of town guest. The rooms were clean and tidy and we had the best nights sleep we’ve ever had away from home here.

On my multi day cycle/camping tour on the Trans American Trail I was ready for a night indoors. I was fortunate to stay overnight upstairs in the “Lucille”.
The Farmhouse was closed on this day (Monday )but a woman with a WiFi signal put me in touch with Kristy (no cell service in Sugar Grove).
Kristy had me booked in straight away over the phone in time to dodge the rain.
Hot shower, comfy bed, full kitchen, comfortable furniture and plenty of room for a large group.
If you’re not like me and can actually plan ahead, both upstairs apartments, the “Lucille” and the “Houston” are listed on Airbnb.
Or call ahead while you still have cell service.
