The private room had a nice king bed and high ceilings, the bathroom was very nicely done and clean. Also at night it is very quiet which makes for a very good night of sleep. Overall the hotel is very stylish and decorated with a lot of taste.
Price is definitely on the higher side, but considering it’s proximity to Telluride (25 minutes) it’s understandable.
For the price you pay you could expect a much much better breakfast, this is unfortunate.

The best hostel we’ve ever stayed! The community space is amazing. They have board game, pool table and comfortable sofa. The kitchen provides coffee, tea and hot chocolate all the time. We stayed in the private room for 3 people. The room size is pretty big and very clean. Only one down side is WiFi. You only can really use WiFi is in the kitchen. We could barely use WiFi in the room. Anyway, we definitely come back here again!

What a truly exceptional establishment and equally incredible and accommodating staff (Wilson among them). The astounding attention to every detail in the decor as well as the astounding array of amenities (hot tubs, pool room & bar, multiple indoor and outdoor seating areas, fireplace, ect.) are simply amazing. Absolutely worth the slightly farther drive to Telluride in every way. Can not recommend it enough.

Fabulous hostel, especially travelling as a solo female! Location is 10/10 and great amenities. Gavin was fabulous! Decent breakfast selection, comfy beds and rooms. Pool table, table tennis and cozy bar are great. Side note: the shampoo and conditioner are fire. Where are they from? @bivvi 😊

The reason I’m writing this review in the middle of my stay:
I arrived my first night to discover that in a 4 bed bunk, they had paired me (a single woman) with two men. I emailed immediately to let them know I was uncomfortable with this. The two men checked out that morning, and to my incredible disappointment I came back the next day to find two new men in my room with me.

I’ve stayed in countless hostels over the years and never in my life have I been paired like this in a dorm, there has ALWAYS been at least one other woman. I’ve talked to three women staying here who all checked in the same day I was paired with the second group of men. This is a massive safety oversight and quite frankly just inconsiderate.

Pros:
Good price to location value.
Hostel is very nice overall, and has two hot tubs.
Breakfast is totally fine for the price!

Cons:
Doesn’t seem like the cleanings are thorough as our trash can has been full for two days.

clean spacious and quiet hostel. the hot tubs were a nice touch and beds were so comfy. we didn't realize until we got there that the rooms were co-ed, our mishap, but everything worked out nicely.

Great spot close to telluride. Very clean hostel and the price is amazing. I met several very kind people that worked there, hope to come back again! A few very cute dogs were also helping out in the common areas 😆👍

What a gem!

Stayed in 6-person dorm for 1 night for an easy access to the Wilson group (Rock of Ages TH is 30 min away, Navajo Lake TH is 1h).

The place looks new, very clean, provides everything you need. Bathrooms are in the room as well.

They even have breakfast, which I unfortunately missed as I was leaving a few hours before it started.
