What a great way to install posts for deck footings. I was going to do the traditional dig a hole, sonatube, and concrete, but I heard about these guys! At $200 a post I was excited to not have to dig and wait for inspections and drying times. They come in with the machine and literally 10 minutes a post you are done. City inspectors love these as well. All I needed was the spec sheet and the report to pass inspection. The only reason for a 4 out of 5 is because I was pushed back a day and they are doing limited posts because of the season. Other than that, Great Product for sure!

Cost per post was a little bit more than cardboard and cement with none of the hassle. The company emailed back the next day from my online request form. They educated me and we set up a date for installation. They arrived on time, did the job and left within hours. The office called later, I gave them credit card information for payment and done. Our experience with Techno Post, Cheshire, Connecticut was excellent. We called them, Jess scheduled our installation, we were called & texted the day before the delivery to confirm our time, and the installer arrived right on time. The installer was a really nice guy who took time to confirm the location of our posts against our approved plans, and also to explain the installation process, the documents that would be provided for our building inspector, and also how the posts would be attached to our addition. Our last deck project involved the conventional excavation of big holes for sonotubes and "big foot" forms and the need for a ton of cement: it made a mess of our lawn. Given the simple, neat, installation of these posts, I can't imagine why anyone would not opt for this option.

We use the helical pilings any chance we get. We have used Techno posts of MA on several projects. They have always been there on time any time we have used them on multiple projects. It is a great time saver, They provide the engineering after the post is installed. which we provide to the inspector at the end of the project. Instead of digging the footings and waiting for an footing inspection. You can start building after the posts have been installed,which can save up to 2 days. The installation usually only takes a couple of hours. it leaves the site cleaner by not having to dig holes.
We now test the sites to make sure the ground is not too bony. If there is ledge or a lot of boulders they will not be able to install the posts.

They’ve done 1 major addition with deck and another deck for me, worked with my schedule so I have no complaints. I’ll never dig a hole if I don’t have to. Structurally sound and installers were great.
