Eli and his company are professional craftsmen. He gave us great ideas for design and layout of our custom cabinets, but also listened to what we wanted. They turned out beautiful. Everything was done in a timely manner and we couldn’t be happier. It has completely transformed my kitchen. We got stained alder with dovetail drawers, soft close hinges, and brushed nickel hardware. I would highly recommend Taylor Made if you are considering new cabinets for your project. We also loved meeting Zeus the shop dog. 🐕

What can I say about Eli and his family’s craftsmanship from Taylor-Made Cabinetry and Furniture? Simply amazing! We are lovers of the written word, and Eli was just the person to help us create more than a way to store our book collection accessibly. We wanted a book “storage” that also created a feeling of contemplation and light in our home. Eli worked with us closely to make this long-time dream a reality. He was both professional and clever in helping us with this endeavor. He was easily able to work from our clumsy sketch to create something beyond our expectations. His creativity and thoughtfulness in both design and quality construction really transformed our living room. Our new wall-sized bookcase, made to snugly surround our family heirloom piano, creates an inviting space for reading, study, music and conversation. My wife and I wanted to do a full remodel of our kitchen. We started with a different designer, but her ideas were not what we were looking for. We were referred to Eli through a very good friend. My wife had seen some of his impeccable work in our friend's home. Eli was quick to respond to our request for a consultation. He walked in and immediately got to work on measurements and ideas. He explained to us in great detail why some of our ideas would work, and why some would not. His initial rough draft of our space was exactly what we were looking for.

Throughout the process, Eli was very responsive to our questions, and ridiculously quick to put our cabinets together. Most kitchen remodels take many months, but ours took a little less than three months. Not only did Eli and his team (special shout out to Austin and Josh) get our gorgeous cabinets completed and installed on time, but he also referred us to other excellent professionals for our drywall and counter top work.

Eli is a perfectionist and we would recommend him to anyone. We look forward to working with him in the future on other projects.

We have fairly new custom built home but we had postponed putting in our pantry until we moved in (we moved from Canada). After my less than stellar experience with the company that our contractor had recommended for our kitchens and bathrooms, I was looking for someone different. I came across Eli's company after doing some research. It's funny to read all the reviews that talk about Eli being a perfectionist - he is very much that. He was also great about working with me to get the cabinets that I wanted, even if they were unusual. His attention to detail is exemplary. He is a true craftsman that takes pride in his work and the product he sells. It's one of the reasons I'm hiring Eli to work on my laundry room and my media/entertainment unit now.

Our custom cabinets where designed to suit our needs perfectly. The quality of the wood, the hardware and the paint are all incredible. Eli is a true craftsman but his pricing is very reasonable. We were able to afford everything that we wanted and he also directed us to other incredible contractors to fit our needs. Eli (owner/operator of Taylor-Made Cabinetry & Furniture) was our contractor for a very significant remodel that included gutting the kitchen, with the exception of the hardwood floors. Gutting both bathrooms and the laundry room and repainting the entire interior of the house. Eli uses subs that he has used for years and each and every one of them is top notch. Their work is excellent and shows great attention to detail and their cleanup is unexpectedly good as well. They are all very personable, knowledgeable and work well together. Eli is a great foreman and keeps everyone on time, handles issues quickly and when you come to him with a concern, his standard response is “No worries”, then handles the concern. Eli did all the new cabinets for the bathrooms, laundry room and kitchen and a bigger island in the kitchen as well. They are exceptional in appearance and functionality. He also replaced a number of window casements and much of the worn and damaged trim around the doorways and windows. He is an exceptional craftsman. He knows his business, gives excellent advice and if you trust in his judgement you won’t be disappointed. He gave us a schedule at the start of the project showing when each sub would be doing their parts of the remodel and with few exceptions, the schedule was followed to the letter. The remodel was finished on time and within budget. I can’t express how much my wife and I enjoyed working with Eli and his crew or how happy we are with the final product. We would have him back without hesitation.

I have worked with Taylor-Made twice now. The first was several years ago, Eli did our original custom kitchen design and install.
