Absolutely a wonderful bike shop!! Took our bikes to Trinidad vs Pueblo for the yearly clean up from hanging in garage during winter and get ready to ride this summer. We expected to leave them and have to come back and pick up another day, but since they weren’t busy, Dave said if you want to grab some lunch in town we can have them both ready by 3! So we wandered around the shops downtown Trinidad, had lunch at a local restaurant and headed back by 2:30. They were both ready by 3 and looked brand new and ready to ride. Only needed a new brake pad for parts and a new valve stem on my bike. The cost was not expensive, waaay less than Pueblo or Springs and we SUPPORTED LOCAL!! Super knowledgeable, friendly, quick and efficient. Great gear needed to bike too! We will be back!!

Had a great time renting a gravel bike from Joe at Tarantula Cycles! Bike was awesome, enjoyed exploring the local town and river valley -- and thanks for the local trail tips! Thanks to Joe and Dave at Tarantula bikes, such great guys with an awesome business. Two of us have been staying in Trinidad for a few days and getting in some gravel biking. Both of us had a couple of issues and one of the bikes is an unusual adaptive mountain bike. Not at all phased out by a bike they had never come cross before, repairs were made and we were able to continue riding and enjoying our time in Trinidad. Our repairs were done quickly and more importantly, well and with care. Among the best, if not the best, bike shop experiences we have had.

I was coming into Colorado In the late afternoon on a Saturday. I had to get some last minute parts and adjustments before I continued on my travels. Tarantula Cycles was the only shop that was open past 4 PM in Trinidad. I told the owner what parts I needed and asked if he was able to replace the parts and make other light adjustments. He was extremely accommodating and did the work needed he even stayed a little after closing to make sure everything was good mechanically. The prices are very fair and it’s a great place to stop. As I was waiting for the service to be completed the owner was very personable and knowledgeable as we discussed the new trails and parks in the area things that I had never known before. I had never stopped for long in Trinidad, but now Tarantula Cycles would be the first place I would stop for my needs not only due the ease of accessibility from I-25 but mostly for the service and the conversation. This is a great bike shop no matter what your needs may be. I am very thankful for this shop.
