A pleasure to work with John from Tacoma Iron Work. He designed a metal frame driveway gate with cedar planks for the interior. Extremely well done and the attention to detail was well above par. The gate looks amazing. It took just about one month from start to finish (I had other companies quote me anywhere from 4-9 months). I used an electrician recommended by John to set up the automation and we are exceptionally pleased with the results. Thank you John for a pleasant experience and a beautiful gate!

Had a great experience getting a decorative railing modified. I had initially ordered the railing from overseas. It didn’t come out as expected. Due to shipping costs, I couldn’t send it back. The crew at Tacoma Iron Work was able to fix the railing for me and even got it powder coated. They saved my project. Would definitely use them again in the future!

I am very pleased with the outcome and process from the first meeting with John to discuss my vision to the rendering of drawings to the final install. We hired Tacoma Iron Work to fix our main gate as it was damaged by a moving truck. Not only did they come out the same we called, they did a superior job of fixing our iron gate. They are very friendly and kept in contact with us to make sure the job was complete and to our satisfaction.
I would recommend Tacoma Iron Work and give them more than 5 Stars!!!

We had them build us a custom gate over 12 years ago and it has been great. Since then we have had them do several projects for us and the price and service has always been great! The owner is involved with the operations and you can tell. I highly recommend them!

First off these guys were amazing to deal with. Needed something welded off the cuff for my pump truck. Showed the the piece and what needed to happen with it. They looked it over and made no promises in to what capacity they could get it back to a functioning bracket for me. They said to come back in about 2 hours and they will have someone look it over and "try" to fix it within reason but not damage it more then what it already was. To my surprise they had called me within an hour and said it was all ready for me. Very nice people there and willing to try to help with your needs if it is within their wheelhouse. Will be definitely be coming back again for something else I would like done on my work truck. Thank you guys.

Unfortunately, the business is disorganized and unprofessional. The estimator came out last year to my property to discuss options for vent wells, gates and fencing options. Never followed up on estimate or discussion. After numerous calls, John finally called back and told me he cannot find the info (he took photos etc) of his visit and said he would call his supplier and get back to me within a few business days. He never called back or emailed. I finally called the office and left a message that I have to move on so I can get my landscape improvements going on. I just wished he told me he is either not interested or unable to do the work. It does appear they do great work on Instagram/Facebook but good luck getting a hold of them or have them follow up with you. Poor character on their end.
