Worst tasting water in all of Colorado Springs, bar none. Just reeks of chemicals. I used to rent a condo just a couple miles away from Stratmoor Hills, and the difference in water quality is drastic. Brita filters can't get rid of the taste, so we've resorted to buying bottled water for drinking. Stratmoor Hills water leaves a white film/residue on our dishes, is damaging our clothes, and feels terrible on our skin after a shower.

Not to mention the semi-regular outages due to burst water mains, or the monthly statements that are always about $70 regardless of how much water you use because the statement is mostly made up of flat charges and fees that stay the same from month to month. So, there's zero incentive or reward for saving water. Overall, a terrible water utility company. At least I haven't had any issues with making payments...

I live at West meadow pk.... the water here tastes like what raw sewage smells like on East Las Vegas st. treatment plant. SEWAGE!!!!....if you mix the water with Gatorade,tea etc or whatever the beverage is ie. even alcohol...a nasty slime starts to build up and floats like algae even when refrigerated. SEWAGE 🥴🤢🤮🤮🤮😡🤬!!!!

Probably the worst tasting water in Colorado. We ended up ordering water delivery because of how bad it tastes. It's amazing how many times we've lost water over the years because of aging infrastructure. I'm pretty sure they spent more money on repairs than what it would cost to completely replace the pipes. So glad to be back on Colorado Springs utilities water.

Worse water company. Use $20 dollars worth of water every month. But they have a bunch of fees so the water bill is always $60+. Then they replace my meter. Then all of a sudden there’s a leak on my side of the line. Colorado Springs Utilities needs to buy them out already.

Love the office staff, but the ones running out here shutting off water and disappearing need to do a better job. My ankle rolled in your hole because last time they were here they never sealed it or whatever. They really need to slow down and do it right. Thank you

Absolutely the most disrespectful company. So because they have “the right” to get on my property apparently that means they get to destroy property to get into it too. “Who cares” is their motto. -10/10 do not recommend.

Our water is constantly being shut off so they can make repairs but they have dug up the same spot on our street several times. They never give us notice either. They shut it off early in the morning and then turn it back on by 5 or 6 pm but it doesn't happen just once. The will do it several days in a row and when calling to find out when it will be fixed, they never know. If they at least gave us notice about prolonged repairs it may be different but they never tell us anything.

For 40 years I have had great service through stratmoor hills water district. When I've had a problem they've been available without any question. I feel blessed to be in this district!
