Nice people with excellent communication. Thanks for the bees!

2024 update: I've purchased package bees here for the last 2 years and found the bees to be healthy, docile, and productive. I'm very happy with these bees.
I also enjoy their food products 😋 and they have a nice supply of candles and other products made with honey/beeswax that could make great, locally-made gifts.

We could not pick up our bees in between dealing family tragedy, repairs on our home due to storm damage, work, and our entire garden being eaten by ground hogs (2020 part 2). I have been beekeeping for the last 6 years and I know we aren't in a position to take care of them this year like they deserve.

Since the site says they sell out I didn't think it would be a big deal to forfeit our box of bees and the $75, non-refundable down payment, yet the person seemed irritated with me that we couldn't pick them up. So weird.

Up until that point the transactions with them have been fine. They keep you updated, the instructions are clear. I should have called, but with everything going on, it was one of the last things on my mind. For that, I apologize. That is entirely my fault and I do appreciate them following up.

Maybe if everyone stays alive, our home isn't falling apart, and we can live trap the ground hogs and find them a new home we will be able to try it again next year.

Really interesting beekeeping presentation, saw lots of bees, and learned a lot about bee biology, behavior, and the technology of honey collection. Owner was generous with his time. And, of course, their honey is tasty. Recommended for the curious, or for lovers of honey.

Pick up of two bee nuc's in the middle of a pandemic went off with out a hitch. Fairly priced. OWNER IS AN EXCELLENT COMMUNICATOR. We got many many emails explaining how it would work, what to expect, where to go (how not to get there). Couldn't ask for more.
