Did not stay here, just hiking on NYE. Which was a nice real experience. Hiked with kids a great place to romp and explore. Recommend hiking to the top for the views and fairy gazebo. Met the caretaker Chip, in the trail. He was very warm and welcoming. If I could ever convince my wife to camp, I’d pick this spot

These people are crooks. I'm a well-known freelance foraging expert. I led pubic tours on the grounds from 2008 to 2019, when a new events director, Celine Currier, took over. A true Stacey, she arbitrarily directed me to lead my tour on shady trails, where edible wild plants, which need sunlight, usually don't grow. My foraging expert daughter scouted out the shady trails in advance and verified this.

Feeling responsible to the participants, I led the tour in sunny places, where we found plenty of plants, despite Currier's arbitrary and wrong-headed objections.

Nevertheless, Currier hired me and my 13-year-old foraging expert daughter to lead a mushroom weekend in 2017. She signed a contract, including a statement that if she canceled the event, we'd be paid in full.

Then, when it was way too late for me to schedule other events, she pulled the rug out for under me, canceled our event, and hired someone else to do the mushroom weekend, despite the signed contract, causing us to lose a much-needed weekend of work.

When I tried to contact her dad, Tim Currier, the owner, with whom I'd been acquainted since 2008, he showed his true colors and ghosted me.

Through a laborious process, I took the farm to small claims court. The trial occurred remotely during the Covid lock-down. No one from the farm showed. I won, and they had to pay me after all.

Be warned: These people are crooks, and will skunk you if they can get away with it.

Great getaway!! Just beware there is no running water or electricity. But the bed is comfortable-linens, blankets provided. BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS!

Plenty of walking trails. Lots of cabins with different "abilities " - look through the website. We stayed at the very top...sleeps 6 but that includes a pull out futon.

I highly recommend checking this out...especially if you live nearby...it feels like you're miles away in the woods!

This is a hidden gem. Just one and a half hours away from New York City. Such a wholesome place.

I love everything about this place. It is a cabin on top of the moss mountain and there's an outdoor kitchen with a grill and a outdoor shower which is so so good and we just love walking around the land. I love the compost toilet, It's clean and not even smelly!

It is off- grid. There is no electricity in the cabin but that's what makes it magical. You are there completely in the forest and surrounded by nature.

We also met the llamas group on Sunday that you can sign up beforehand to walk with them. and there's organic garden that you can also volunteer.

We will definitely be back for this Oasis to getaway from the concrete jungle. 🌞

A first time experience that made a lasting impression! Gathered on a lovely setting with campfire behind me, pond to my left, a small group of friendly people to my right and a three hour concert of talented local artists entertaining us under the stars. Nature trails, spiritual gatherings, events and short stays are offered here as well. Looking forward to my next visit!

This is one of my favorite places in the world! I stayed there for the first time in 2017 and plan on returning every year. There are so many special spaces, and each cabin has its own personality. I'm really looking forward to seeing the cats again and seeing how the younger ones have grown up.
