Steele Creek Park Lodge Rental - Satsuma, Alabama

Used this venue for a wedding reception. Everyone we talked to to reserve and use this venue was fantastic!! The venue is set off the beaten path and in a really pretty spot. Bathrooms were nice and easily accommodated our guests.
Kitchen kinda small but caterer said no big deal for her. We set up all 25 tables with 8 chairs per table and a few extra chairs for extra seating. Caterer set up in back of venue with 2 8 ft tables and 2 round tables. We estimated we had 175-200 people attend reception and felt space was adequate for number of guests we had.
Have a 4 rating instead of 5:
1. Quite a few chairs we tightened the screws for the back of the chairs as some of the screws were “backed out”. No big deal as we used battery powered drill to tighten.
2. Air conditioning may need to be upgraded. We were able to adjust the temp for the event to 68 but thermostats showed 75-77 during the event. Totally understand the number of people impacted the temp inside but it was warm.
OVERALL will recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place to host an event.

Great place in Satsuma, Alabama to hold parties,banquets, and other special functions. It's located right on the water. You can even launch a boat or walk the boardwalk around to see the water. Highly recommended.

Nice fishing pier and boat launch. There is no time limit to dock and leave like at big creek lake. Clean.
I haven't been inside the building since I was a teen. We had a valentine's banquet hosted by my church here. It was very nice. Very lovely place for banquettes or weddings and such. This place never crossed my mind when I got married but I wish I would have remembered this place! I for sure would have had my wedding here.

This waterfront location has a huge rental space that can easily accommodate about 250 people…maybe more. Our party was only about 150 people and there was plenty of room for us to move around, dance and play games in addition to sitting at tables for dinner. We had eighteen 10-person tables and we could have added many more tables in the space. Also, outside the lodge there is a boat launch and a covered area with picnic tables and grills.

The rental hall includes a large, attached, fully-equipped kitchen with refrigerator and freezer space. There is a huge fireplace, 15 ceiling fans inside and ceiling fans outside on the porch.

There are restrooms inside and outside. This is a really nice location. It’s hidden among mature trees that surround a lake and the lodge/park is easily accessible from interstate 65 and highway 43.

The Deep South Amateur radio club recently held their yearly Ham fest here and it was a very good time. I really appreciated the additional parking as well as the space for RVs.

Decent boat ramp good fishing I've never rented the lodge but it's a real nice place they have a few camping spots they have a Frisbee Golf Course all in all we usually just put the boat in there to go fishing
