My husband and I have been going to Springfield Distillery for about three years after finding it while out riding our motorcycles. This place is awesome. The people are awesome. The drinks are awesome. The atmosphere is awesome.

My husband and I discovered this location because of Groupon. They are located in Springfield, VA. A very expensive property with lots of trees and you can see cows in the distance. The bar is located in a cabin. There are only a couple of tables inside. 2 bathrooms with sliding barn doors are inside as well. There are a number of picnic tables outside. There is also a covered area with tables and the day we visited live music. In cooler weather they have a couple of raise fire pits that are a nice place to warm up. We had a tour which included 2 drink glasses. The tour was very informative. We learned about their process as well as about how the family came to start their distillery. It is very much a family operation. They show a lot of attention to detail and take a lot of pride in their product and making sure it is quality. Grandma is even present to tell you how great her grandson is doing. We did a tasting. The cost is $20 for tasting 3 And a large cocktail or 4 tastings and a small cocktail. We really enjoyed the Bottled and bond bourbon, 1847. It was aged 4 years and was very smooth with a burn. We also liked a couple of the flavored whiskeys. This was the first time we had ever had a mint whiskey. I really like mint mojitos and this will make a great base for that. We also liked the blackberry whiskey.

Do not pass this place up. Every where we went we were told to try the distillery and they did not disappoint.

had a great time there and would highly recommend a stop here even if you aren’t into whiskey. She has something for every taste and you will leave with a smile on your face.

The grounds are perfect for outdoor games and hanging out with friends or family. Or you can relax on one of the many seats on the wrap around porch. They also rent out cabins and a home if you prefer to extend your stay here.

Highly recommend the 1842 and the peach. Her best seller is the blackberry which taste great in the lemonade drink they sell. They also have great limited releases to keep you coming back for new great experiences.

Enjoyed every minute here. So welcoming and fun.

My wife and I were stuck in South Boston for a day and came across the Springfield Distillery while looking for something to do. If you like whiskey, which I'll assume you do if you're reading this, then this place is worth checking out!

They have a variety of flavored whiskeys, which you can sample for free and a rum, which I sadly didn't get to try. They have a list of unique mixed drinks, of which we tried several and of those we tried, all were excellent. They have a great outdoor area with tons of seating, as well as area to wander and play games. It is in the country, so it's a nice peaceful place to sit and have a drink.

I'm glad we found this place and in sure we would be regulars of we were local.

Just a short try from South Boston, Springfield distillery offers a wonderful relaxing place to enjoy cocktails with friends. There's a large outdoor sitting area so kids can play while their parents chat. If you're planning a weekend away, they also have cottages to rent. The Distillery offers a broad range of flavored whiskeys but also vodka and other spirits.
