Always wanted solar and I wanted to get in on the 26% federal tax credit and no sales tax on solar components before things changed. Received 6 bids for Solar with some estimates as high as 65k for 24 panels and battery backup. Syed from Solora came over, listened to what I wanted the system to do and designed the system for a reasonable cost (still wasn’t cheap). Selected Q-cell G10 Solar panels with Generac PWR Cell battery backup. Syed and his team did a great job and the communication was great. Project took 3 days to complete. Even the delivery driver was great, very patient with my kids who wanted to “help”. PSE just finished yesterday testing the system and I received the official word today that the system is good to go for net metering. All the inspectors (electrical, building) that came by said the system looked great and they’re jealous. Good to hear that from your inspector. All in all couldn’t be happier with my solar project. We could not be more pleased with our experience with Solora Solar. We purchased a rooftop system around 7 years ago. Everything was handled flawlessly. When we called they responded in a timely fashion. They came to the house and prepared 2 presentations for us to consider. Ask to see an actual presentation--you will be impressed. There was no pressure to buy. NONE. After we decided on one, the installation was done quickly and we were producing electricity!
I need to mention we called 3 companies at the same time. One responded and blew us off; another never bothered to contact us.

Solora on the other hand:
1. Was very responsive to our requests for information like references.
2. We checked Solora's references and they were glowing.
3. Solora helped us find the least expensive financing for our installation.
4. With government grants and WA state grants, our loan was paid off rapidly.
When you include lower electrical bills month after month, we made out like bandits. *We love summer*.

We have never had a major problem with the system. Recently we had 2 minor ones that required the system to be rebooted. When we called, in both cases, the company responded within hours. The last time, they taught us to do it ourselves... dirt easy.

I would recommend this company to my beloved children as well as anyone else.

I had the pleasure of working with Syed and team from Solora Solar a little less than a year ago.
Everything was communicated well from the timeline, the permits, the parts, and installation.
I like how they handled my problem with the LG chem battery that was dead only a few months into operation. The replacement was ordered, setup, and installed without much effort from my end.

We were initially very pleased with the system. It is a nice design and performance was more than we expected. Unfortunately, a little after the first year, the inverter died. Solora Solar failed to monitor the system and catch this, so we missed several weeks of prime production period this summer. We are back online only due to direct assistance from the inverter manufacturer. Follow-up from Solora Solar was virtually nonexistent.

If you are interested in solar, I am sure they will come up with a great design and all kinds of helpful information. Maybe hire them for that, but then take it to another installer, since after-sale support will vanish.
