I bought a solo backpack sprayer from Home Depot. The box was unopened. The entire spray wand was missing along with the tips. I’ve been calling and trying to get the missing parts for over 6 months. I’ve talked to actual humans, left messages with other departments, and finally forced to leave a negative review. Spend your money on a company that values quality and its customers. Solo inc is obviously not one of them.

Answer your phones. I placed an order for 2 shoulder straps in early December. Received a confirmation and receipt. First of February, and I’ve not received or heard anything else about my order. Have called dozens of times to speak to someone, and always get an answering machine. Poor customer service

Great company to deal with! Great customer service! I had a minor hiccup on an on-line order I placed on-line, and they called me to address it in a most satisfactory fashion! When was the last time that happened? I can't remember! Additionally: their website is efficient and easy to use; and, I placed my order on Thursday afternoon, and it arrived in the mail Monday morning. I wish all my on-line experiences were just like this one. SOLO, I am impressed by your U.S. company!

I recently placed an order online which was cancelled. I then received an email that my order had been cancelled because there was a problem with my order and that I should call in and another email that my payment had been accepted. So I called and was informed by Krystal my order was canceled because I included a comment about accepting PayPal as an acceptable means of payment and that she would be able to place the order again for me. So I gave her my card again and she placed the order which generated a second charge to my account. For some unknown reason it took several days for my bank to completely process the
second charge. While I was waiting I wrote Krystal about being charged twice. She was polite and responded quickly that they had only received the first payment. I waited for the bank to finally process the second charge. I then received a phone call from Krystal regarding having received the second payment. She was very apologetic and was willing to process a refund right away. She went out of her way to contact me about the second payment which in this day and age is unusual. She was polite, courteous and quick to process my refund. I consider the follow up great customer service both when the order was placed and when there was issue with payment. Thank you Krystal and Solo.

I would like to share my recent experience with Solo Corporation. I
own a few Solo products and I always appreciated the quality of the
products and in fact that they are MADE IN USA. I called customer
service a few weeks ago in regard to an issue with a sprayer and I was
very impressed to hear a friendly voice to answer the phone call and
to connect me with the customer service representative Krystal Insley.
I think Krystal went out of her way to solve the issue and sent me the
part with all details and tracking numbers. She is very detail-minded
and follow-through until the issue is resolved.
BTW, the music that was playing while I was on hold for a few minutes
to talk to Krystal is a great 70s rock and in my case makes it more
fun to wait than listening to elevator music.

This fertilizer spreader is the best! I have a steep back yard and trying to use the drop or broadcast spreaders that are mounted on 2 wheels was difficult to spread fertilizer evenly, not to mention keeping the wheels from binding up. The hand held spreaders caused my hand to cramp and required frequent refilling. I just purchased this spreader and used it for the first time and Wow, it worked incredibly. I should have purchased one of these years ago. Will never go back to the traditional spreaders. The Solo 421 spreader was very comfortable strapped to the front of me. The back strap is easy to put on. The crank arm is very smooth and since the gear mechanism is not in contact with the material you are spreading, it doesn't gum up or plug the gear mechanism. It even has a place to keep the gears lubricated for long term ease of use and proper maintenance. The Solo 421 can also be used to spread ice melt, grass seed and other applications. It is quiet and light weight. The top lid is somewhat see through so you you see how much you are spreading and how much is left and it seals the container nicely so you don't smell what you are applying. It is very easy to adjust the flow rate and the width of fertilizer dispersion. I would highly recommend this chest mount spreader to anyone!

Every now and then you stubble across a product and or company that has it figured out. At SOLO "They Get It". My experience with SOLO actually started several years ago. I had the opportunity to spend several hours with both production and management personnel at the local SOLO manufacturing facility. Needless to say as a home owner and do it yourselfer I took the opportunity to express my frustration with many of the pump garden sprayers I owned over the years. I explained that I had owned numerous brands both metal and plastic and regardless of how much they cost they all seemed to fail within a short period of time. Many perform poorly from the start. I asked why can't you buy a sprayer that works? A SOLO representative educated me on their history producing sprayers and suggested "Try a SOLO." Within a short time I again was in need of a replacement sprayer and decided to take his advise. I purchased a 457 3 gallon sprayer and as promised it worked perfectly out of the box. It has continued to work flawlessly for 2+ seasons spraying an assortment of liquids. Approximately one year after purchasing the 457 a friend brought up his need for a dependable sprayer. I shared the advise given to me now some year or so earlier. He purchased a SOLO and his frustration with pump sprayers are over.

Fast forward to 2019. I was in the area of the SOLO plant and had a few questions regarding the smaller pump sprayers. I decided what the heck why not stop in and see if someone there will speak with me. This is a factory, not a retail store. I walked in the main entrance and explained to the lady at the desk that I had a question regarding sprayers and wondered if there was someone I could speak with. She was quick to offer assistance and within seconds had someone coming to the front desk. I was greeted by a very knowledgeable very pleasant employee. He was eager to listen to my questions and took personal interest in my needs. He took ownership of the issue and made it a point to find the answer and resolve my question. They aren't set up for walk in customers yet they stopped what they were doing and the gentleman who came from the back I'm sure has other responsibilities. This is what I base my "They Get it" statement. Not only do they make the best sprayers but their employees take pride in what they do and it shows.
