We had a really great time having our 20th Wedding Anniversary wedding here Fall 2024. Amy & her team were flexible and accommodating to the needs of our day. The grounds for photos are amazing, the price is very affordable, and our guests LOVED having it all in ONE place with LOTS of local hotels & airbnbs in walking distance. There aren't a lot of suggestions I have for improvement for this venue as its all included and went off well. I am a VERY high maintenance bride & former industry expert and my high expectations were met.

I do recommend a day-of planner because a lot of moving parts at a place like this are popping off at the same time. We had one and I would have died had we not most likely lol.

We highly rec this gorgeous place right off the highway. It gives a mountain feel with all the amenities of the big city.

Plan extra photograph time as we could have gone an extra HOUR easily with all the gorgeous spots around but ran out of time.

Warn your guests at peak leaf season drives back to Denver can escalate to 3 hours +, we got lucky a light dusting of snow that Sunday scared travelers away that weekend.

MAKE SURE your photographer can photoshop out the parking lot behind where most walk and get photos coming down the isle. There is a parking lot and parking garage that is visible. See the black and white photo walking down the isle, that is photoshopped to remove cars and the garage. If you are trying to get fall color leaves you may want to do that too. We got lucky they turned for us 9/21. On our visit just 4 days before they were still all green.

Make sure you know your chair, sound & furniture plan if doing vows at the river as you cannot take ANY furniture to the river from the Pavilion. One company will set up for you but on one of our visits we saw a disgruntled father setting up all the chairs - he warned us be clear with the chair vendor. We got to be one of the first weddings that got to use the new wood chairs inside (instead of the banquet chairs) if those aren't for you plan covers for sure.

We highly recommend making the dance floor in the middle of the pavilion, it allowed a lot of guests who don't dance still feel a part of the action. We had approx 90 guests and fit well. Weather was scary and this could have also been the back up 'isle'.

We hired babysitters for watching kids in the extra room & did a kid & kid buffet, and kid & teen rectangle tables for dining and it was awesome! The adults got to adult, the kids had a blast, the teens were cool, and my seating chart was EASY.

A favorite thing was they have SO many decorations & signs we didn't need to hardly bring anything!

I think this is very close to Denver and had so many options for guests that some of the more remote places just didn't have.

We LOVED getting married at the Silverthorne Pavilion, and would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful mountain venue at an affordable price.

A few notable highlights:

- Experienced, friendly amazing planning team: Amy is an amazing venue coordinator, she asks lots of great questions about your event to ensure the day will go smoothly (plus, is a pleasure to work with and very responsive!) Everything went off without a hitch on our wedding day, the weekend event team (Shyanne & others) did a great job executing the plan.

- Large capacity: We had seating for ~240 guests, and the pavilion accommodated this easily for our reception, and still left room open for the dance floor!

- Beautiful outdoor ceremony site: We got married at the river ceremony site, which had space to fit ~175 chairs (rented from a local company, Pavilion does not provide). For the overflow, we had blankets on the lawn which were perfect for families and young people who enjoyed having a bit more space and flexibility during the ceremony.

- Lots of options for offsite photos: Getting married in Silverthorne allows countless options for a stunning offsite first look. We had ours overlooking Lake Dillon near Sapphire point, and it was stunning. We also took some photos by the river next to the pavilion that were also gorgeous.

- Vendor flexibility: The Pavilion recommends some vendors but they don’t require you to select from this list… Catering was by far our largest event cost, but it was nice to have the flexibility to choose outside of the recommended list. I know of one couple who got married at the Pavilion and had a family member prepare the food, keeping the overall event costs much lower.

- Bar flexibility: They can configure the bar however you’d like… We opted for a hosted bar for beer & wine, and cash bar for liquor, and white claws. Alcohol prices were reasonable. They also allow you to bring in your own soft drinks – we brought in lots of soda and had tables out in the reception area, which also helped keep our bar lines shorter!

- Decor/Centerpiece closet: The Pavilion has a variety of decor left from previous weddings, that is available for anyone to use! We used a few easels, some candles, and a few bud vases, but they have lots more available, free of charge.

- Convenient location: There are so many hotels & AirBnbs within walking distance, making this a convenient & safe option to host a wedding, with lodging options for every budget. Also, the trail by the venue is beautiful and it made me so happy to see so many of our wedding guests out enjoying the trail the morning of our wedding!

- Lots of parking, overnight available: Safety is important to us, so we appreciated that there is an option for overnight parking (just had to ask the bartenders for an overnight permit).

Nothing but great things to say about our wedding here, thank you again to the Silverthorne Pavilion team for making this an amazing experience!

We had the most amazing experience with the Silverthorne Pavilion! Our original venue fell through 6 months before the wedding, and we were so lucky the Pavilion had an opening for our weekend. It is the perfect venue for a mountain wedding, and we are so happy it is where we ended up celebrating. Amy, Shyanne, and Jill were great to work with through the entire planning process, and they kept the day running smoothly and helped make our day just what we wanted. Also, the bartenders were so fun and kept the party going for everyone. We would highly recommend the Pavilion for your wedding!!

We had our wedding reception at the Pavilion. The staff was extremely easy to work with, and we had absolutely no complaints. The venue is beautiful, and in a scenic location. And it was very reasonably priced. The bartenders were also great, and did a great job moving the line along even though we had 220+ guests. Very highly recommend!

The location is absolutely stunning, with a picturesque landscape by the river, mountains in the background, and a charming bridge that made for incredible photo opportunities. Our guests were just as impressed as we were with the venue’s natural beauty and elegance.

Silverthorne is such a beautiful place and I had the opportunity to capture Annemarie & Harley's beautiful wedding day at the Pavillion. There are plenty of photo opportunities along the river and upon the charming bridge. I hope to photograph more beautiful couples at this awesome venue!

We are so happy we chose the Silverthorne Pavilion for our wedding. A primary reason we chose it, besides being locals, was that it is naturally beautiful without having to push in a ton of decor! We rented linens, worked with a florist for centerpieces, and added our own fun touches, but we really didn't HAVE to revamp the place. We loved the option of having twinkle lights hanging from the ceiling and having the ceiling windows open to see the night sky. Of course, the ceremony site on the river also attracted us! The entire venue is walkable for guests, the wedding party, and vendors. Amy was also very easy to work with; she was communicative, timely, and asked the right questions to make sure every detail of the day matched our vision. In general, the flexibility, ease, and beauty of the location was perfect for us. We'd highly recommend for the Silverthorne Pavilion as a wedding venue!

Photographed a super fun and chill wedding here in August! The ceremony spot along the river is so cute and an easy walk from the cocktail patio and reception hall. Plus so close to lots of accommodations for guests!
