No wait time, in and out within 5-10 mins. Great service, they made vehicle registration a breeze and answered our questions easily. Much nicer than other Licensing Offices I have been to in the area, in terms of both service and atmosphere. Plus cute holiday decor.

I drove over an hour to get here, standing in line for 45 minutes just to experience Worst Customer Service Experience EVER. Try Kunthara auto licensing The customer service is 100 times better. This place is just the worst!!!!
I called Saturday at 1:06pm ONLY because Kunthara auto licensing was closed. I specifically told them I bought a vehicle just weeks ago that I had put in my name and I wanted to gift it to somebody. They told me if I drove all the way from Seattle in the rain storms and traffic that it would be no problem to just transfer it to that person with out a title and only required a bill of sale, even though I had not received the title yet all I needed was a bill of sale and to be present with the buyer. Upon arrival, they confirmed that the vehicle I purchased was transferred into my name five weeks prior, bit somehow said the process was not finished which is weird, then she refused to explain why which is weird, so I provided my receipt that I transferred it into my name five weeks prior and ask what did I miss? she still refused to answer my questions and then said she didn't believe me that I called and spoke to anybody because she didn't answer my call and demanded to see my phone call log because she did not believe that I called and spoke to anybody. I then showed her my call log showing that I called at 1:06 PM and asked her if she can't do anything for me. Why verify my records. she ignored me and started asking everyone in the room who I spoke to until she verified that I actually did speak with somebody she works with who gave me those exact instructions. I don't know why she wanted to verify that I was telling the truth because I already showed her my call log and her coworker already told her that we spoke on the phone. once she was embarrassed that her coworker told her I did call and verified exactly what I said then she then became defensive and told me it's not her coworkers job to tell me that the title was not transferred yet into my name five weeks ago and their database system, apparently because it can take up to six weeks. so then I asked her why she was able to verify it was already transferred into my name then and she refused to answer my questions so I asked another coworker and she immediately closed what was on the screen so her coworker couldn't see it.. That's not a big deal at all. I could just come back, or go somewhere else , because she's obviously embarrassed that she was making an ass of herself, but the customer service about it and being so defensive and verifying if I was telling him the truth or not about who I spoke to was completely uncalled for. Especially once she realized she was wrong she can't admit it or even apologize or even answer how she knew the vehicles was indeed in my name and I just wanted to gift it to someone. I realize that they have a long line going all the way out the door and that she's completely irritated with people in front of me who didn't understand questions she was asking, but that had nothing to do with taking it out on me. I told her please make sure you tell your customers next time by phone before they spend over an hour commuting to your location if your not going to help or be nice its just not very good customer service then I left, then she screamed at me as I walked away she stated rude comments when she's the one that upset customers in line before me to begin with, then she took it out on me, her customer service sucks real bad. I will never come back to this place ever again and I would encourage everyone to go to Kunthara Auto Licensing where I have had countless positive customer service experiences for years through 4 trailer title transfers and 6 different vehicles with no problems for 11 years. Kunthara also does not have 45-60 minute wait lines or any pissed off bitter employees, they are always nice. Silver Lake Licensing is horrible! Go to Kunthara Auto Licensing.

Super quick and easy service here! I had a vehicle I needed to register that I was gifted over 2 years ago and was a bit nervous of the process. The person that helped me was very nice and efficient! Thank you 🙂

While there was no waiting time, it was difficult communicating with the employee on shift Tuesday 12/10/24 as they told me that my title I had received through Whitman's in Monroe didn't exist. I was then immediately told that as far as they are concerned it was never signed, notorized, and was not submitted to the State of Washington. This employee then also pointed out that the previous owner of the car, my deceased father, most likely never actually did any of this, wouldn't pay for a notory, and insinuated he wasn't truthful with me.

My father could not walk, and since he couldn't drive anymore nor register the vehicle remotely he transfered the car to me so I could keep it maintained for the family. I'm the one who paid for the notory, scheduled the meeting, and helped him get it legally signed. I have no idea how the registration in that car was even able to be sent to me if the title was never submitted.

I can understand if they simply told me that it wasn't in the system because I would have just went to ask Whitfield's instead, but to instead tell me that my father wrongly told me he did all of this and they would have known if he legitimately got a notory is incredibly rude. I just told them that was okay and left.

All I did was say, "This is what I did. What are the next steps?"

If I had known that them saying "Here is where we are. Here's your next steps." was going to be this instead, I never would have chose to go to Silver Lake.

Closed due to system outage the couple of times I've been there to pick up my tabs. Also no one has picked up the phone so I can verify if they're even open. Very frustrated and worried I will get fined. I thought picking them up would be faster...

The two times I went to this location the customer service was excellent. They lady’s were super friendly and the service was done quick and painless. I recommend this location to get all your licensing needs done.
