I have to start by saying, this review is specifically about ShopRite’s deli. On occasion, I love a really good deli sandwich. Most times when my craving comes on, it’s after 4pm. Most delis close at about 4pm. I don’t remember when I first learned that ShopRite sold deli sandwiches, but it was a long time ago. Ever since I ordered my first ShopRite deli sandwich, I was hooked. The bread is always fresh. They give generous amounts of deli meat. I absolutely have to have shredded lettuce on my deli sandwiches and they deliver. It really is a good sandwich. The best part is, the prices are reasonable. I literally forgot about their sandwiches for a few years and then it popped back into my mind this year. I had to let those who might not have known that they make good sandwiches, know. The reason I only gave it a four is, most times, the deli guys (mostly guys), look like they can’t be bothered and they give the feeling that you are inconveniencing them. Sometimes, it takes a a few minutes for someone to finally come over and take your order, like there is some kind of internal dispute about who should take the next order. Also, this particular time, I gave my order to the gentleman and repeated it over and over and when I took my sandwich home, I realized he ā€œforgotā€ to add cheese and onions like I repeated several times. Other than that, it was a good sandwich. I am really doing this review to let people know that ShopRite is a great (cold) sandwich alternative, when you are in the mood for a sandwich. AND it really is a good sandwich too.

The hot bar was great! Fresh and many different kinds of Chickens and a lot more! With Reasonable price, I went there instead of going to restaurant, and I am pretty satisfied.

The rest of whop was also clean and nice , big and well stocked shop, with polite and helpful staffs.

Thank you

A great urban supermarket - for a market that has to have a slightly smaller footprint, this one packs in so much stuff, from so many different cultures. Prices are reasonable and the produce quality is generally extremely high. Baked goods, hot food bar, olive bar and sushi bar are all very high quality. This is the best local supermarket around.

Just picked up an order from Shop at Home. Bag looked like it was chewed. Needless to say the bread I had ordered had multiple holes. Was told to ā€œhold onto the bread and bring it back inā€

Flower shop staff in this Shoprite needs to be retrained. I ordered a bouquet of flowers for Valentine’s seven days ahead (Feb. 7) because last year I was run out of flowers for my wife. I was too confident and expected that everything will be ready come Feb. 14. Lo and behold when I got to pick it up, it was not ready. As expected, Feb. 14 was rushed and chaotic and the very reason why i ordered in advance. The lady in the flower shop was telling me they don’t actually accept advance order but why accepting my payment during my reservation? She furthered I should’ve made reservation during the morning when she was there - why the heck should i follow her schedule? I really felt upset when she said they don’t have tulips anymore, which what I ordered together with red roses. When i told her i will not accept any excuses, she asked another staff to look for extra tulips in the back. To cut the story short, they found spare tulips in the back and made my bouquet instantly but the lady insisting i didn’t pay for arrangement but i was clear during my reservation that i need a bouquet so my expectation was it is arranged and I know i paid extra. In the end, i walked out the shop disappointed because i got almost wilted flowers because they’re just leftovers.

I’ve been shopping here for a few months and can strongly say that this is a quality store. It is decorated nicely, the selection is varied and usually in stock, and the store is clean. My only issue is how crowded it can get. I do my shopping on Sundays and learned to get there by 8am. If you go at peak hours be prepared to feel like a canned sardine! We waited for 20 minutes for check out with every single register open (props to the store for having that many staff ready to go!). Maybe the store should consider layout changes to adjust for the amount of shoppers it can sometimes have.

Overall this ShopRite is ok, but my only issue is the hot food isn't as great as it use to be. This food use to be so good from their baked Lasagna to their chicken wings, lately the cooks are not cooking from the heart anymore... ShopRite you can't expect people to cook American culture food if half of the cooks aren't American... Just saying.

As someone who cooks most of my meals and tries a large variety of cuisines I'm not mad about this ShopRite's selection.

They've had kinda random ingredients I've needed like buckwheat kernels, red/white miso, and Einkorn flour.

Their produce selection is pretty good. Most of the time the veggies are very fresh and their selection is fairly large. Can't really speak for the fruit as I don't have it enough (shame on me lol).

Everything is clean, things are organized well and it's not ever so busy I want to die. Plus they have checkouts open with humans on em which isn't something I should have to say, but here we are.

However, more than once I have had to leave without some of the items on my list. Usually it's small things like they're out of scallions, sage, or some other smaller herb. It's happened enough times that it is fairly annoying, and for that I give it 4 stars.
