My family had been doing business with Shaw's for over 50 years and my wife and I have been loyal too. Nine months ago, they delivered our new kitchen appliances. These were their top of the line models. When they installed them, they damaged the floor that was 3 days old. We immediately brought this to the attention of Rusty, who is the owner. His first response was, "There isn't enough profit in the appliances to cover the cost to replace the floor." 9 months later, Rusty is saying, "it's unfair that we want him to cover the costs to replace the entire one-piece floor." He clearly wants the floor installer to just cut a piece out and patch it. The installer says he can't. Rusty also asked us why we bought such an expensive one-piece floor. Rusty, that's none of your damn business. Why did we buy the most expensive appliances that you sell? Because we can, that's why. Rusty clearly doesn't value loyal customers and doesn't do what's right when there's a problem. Shaw's should have insurance for these types of problems. My wife and I have been very patient and kind with Rusty the owner of Shaw's. However, it's been 9 months and he want take my calls or talk with me when I go into their showroom. He hides in his office. Unfortunately, this will end up in court, Shaw's will lose, and my family will have to do business elsewhere.

3 + months and still do not have all appliances ordered. Only communication has happened after we call to ask status. Could have ordered through Home Depot for much cheaper and quicker delivery but kept our business local - big miatake.

I bought appliances for my new house from Shaw's. I like to buy local. This is the second time that I bought there and was even more impressed the second time. I had to change delivery dates twice on them and it was handled with ease. Hunter took my calls and always know who I was. Small town customer service at it's BEST! Delivery charge was too low, it included washer lines, dryer vent and water line for my fridge. I tried to pay for these items and Hunter said it's part of the service. Awesome!!!

This was very quick and easy. We went in to get a dishwasher and came out having only bought a dishwasher. There was no hassle and no attempt to up sell us with needless warrantees or other dumb things. They were professional and knowledgeable. They don't actually employ anyone who installs dishwashers, but they recommended a guy who was quick to respond and we got the dishwasher delivered and installed the next day. Overall it was a great experience.

For appliance purchasing? OUTSTANDING!!! We purchased an appliance suite from them, and had a couple of hiccups with our refrigerator order. None of our problems were caused by Shaw's, but Rusty went way way way above and beyond to help remediate and resolve our problems. Today our amazing new fridge arrived and we are over the moon happy with all of their service!

Great, courteous service and products! My daughter just moved to town and needed to furnish her apartment. She fell in love with a couch at Shaw's and when we inquired if we could take the floor model, the sales lady was absolutely awesome and did everything she could get us the couch that day!
What professional service. We had previously gone to another local furniture store and had the opposite experience so we were very happy to know Shaw's Furniture was so accommodating and really cares about their customers.
We will be repeat customers in the future!

Wow!!!!! I had a stunning experience. Needed a stove and microwave to get a certificate of occupancy on my new construction home. I was lamenting that I failed to plan and would most likely need to special order with 3 week delivery. Shaw's had what I wanted in stock. Delivered that day. I recall my girlfriend buying a washer and dryer in the past with a similar experience. We had a problem with it. The problem was our faulty plumbing. They still came out and helped us identify. A shout out to Gary who is a new showroom rep. He is a real asset to the business. Shaw's is a business others should try to emulate.

Way over priced. Most things you do.find that you want to have several weeks to many months wait to receive. Worth the trip to Seattle or yakima to get your furniture weeks sooner.
