They are busy so it is necessary to call and schedule in advance. They did a great job installing a blower replacement and came back when I had issues and fixed it. The techs are very professional and helpful.

Easy setting up appointment over phone. Super nice service technician. Spent well over an hour take parts out, cleaning and servicing the fireplace. Laid the logs out in such a nice way. Went above and beyond and I feel guilty now I only gave him a $5 tip. Really happy.

I had to wait several weeks for the appointment with Service Monkey to have my gas burning fireplace cleaned and inspected but the wait was worth it. Dan and Holden spent 1 1/2 hours cleaning the logs, walls and inside of the glass doors, adding material below the gas log to create a better burning ember effect and repositioning the pilot light. The logs, walls and glass doors are clean looking and the pilot light starts the gas log burning better than it has in 20 years of use. Dan also commented that the mechanism that opens and closes the damper was not working properly and recommended that it be set in a permanently open position for safety. When I called the office to ask a question about the quantity of gas coming out of the pilot light, Billy returned my call within a couple of hours and assured me that the amount of gas burned is insignificant and is set to start the gas log quickly. I would highly recommend using Service Monkey for your fireplace cleaning and periodic inspection.

Billy was awesome. His staff was at a conference and he had no one to come to our house to check out a pilot light problem. He tried to talk us through the instructions over the phone but then decided to make a quick trip over. He explained the step by step process of getting the fireplace going again and we had quick results. We now know how to handle the problem is it occurs again. He was terrific and we will always recommend Service Monkey Fireplace. His service was above and beyond!
