Brett was great to work with from the get-go. He previously worked with my husband so he knew what to expect, and I’m so happy we chose Selective Hearing Entertainment! Brett is very organized and likes to get to know the couple he is DJing for and is great at making special requests happen. He is also very flexible and was ready to do the sound for our wedding ceremony 1-2 weeks prior due to back and forth with another vendor. He played an amazing acoustic cocktail hour and provided live instrumental and vocal music for everyone to enjoy. I caught a second of it as well and wished I was there for its entirety. Brett is a fun DJ who can create very sweet and funny moments -whatever is needed, he can swing it! He set up a moment for me to dedicate my bouquet to my mother and also made everyone laugh during our “Shoe game”. We know he did an amazing job because everyone kept telling us they truly enjoyed him! We seriously recommend hiring Selective Hearing Entertainment for any special event!

We hired Brett to DJ a private party at a lake pavilion and we got a whole lot more that we didn't even ask for- live music (with percussionist), light show, karaoke! He kept the party hopping from start to finish and seamlessly evolved along with the party as it shifted from family formal to drunken sh show.
I've also seen him at weddings, breweries, and restaurants- it's always a great time and he is hard working and a true business professional to boot.

I’ve been to numerous weddings that Selective Hearing Entertainment has worked, and I cannot recommend Brett enough. Not only does he offer an acoustic hour and can officiate the ceremony, but he has a unique skill of reading the crowd and picking music that gets everyone of all ages on the dance floor, keeping the reception lively. He’s full of fun energy and can also create a beautiful acoustic set, he hits the full range! He even provides an amazing light show to add to the ambience. He is passionate and it shows through all the detail and attention he puts into each event. He is interactive, creative, kind to the kids who want to see his DJ booth, and has always shown up early and ready. He dresses and acts professional, and also brings his own personal touch that only he can do. You will not be disappointed, and will wind up creating events just to have him back!

Bret was absolutely amazing at our wedding. He kept the party going. He did a fantastic job keeping the timeline on track. He jumped right in to show us how to do the choreography for some of the dances (I’ve never seen a dj do this). It definitely made my wedding an amazing experience. The guests loved him and he made sure the dance floor was never empty. He even reassured the father of the bride when he got cold feet about dancing. We hired photographers that were new to the wedding business and he guided them with some shots he thought they should get. He even snapped some shots himself that came out amazing. Hands down made my wedding experience amazing. If you’re looking for a DJ I would highly recommend Selective Hearing.

Brett is such an awesome easy going person. He was super easy to work with and gave great advice when we needed it. He was the DJ for our wedding on 6/23/2023 and the night was absolutely flawless. He had everyone out on the dance floor for hours! We could not have asked for more in a wedding DJ. I highly recommend Brett for any occasion. His energy is truly infectious!

DJ Brett was amazing to work with for our wedding. Almost 2 years later and people are still talking about how fantastic our DJ and the music was. Brett could not have been more easy, down to earth, and fantastic to work with. He was more than accommodating during the planning phase, was always up beat, and always got back to us quickly when we had any questions. Highly recommended!!! Could not say enough good things about Brett! He helped us so much during our wedding planning stages and took care of everything between the timeline of events, MC and DJ. We would recommend him a thousand times over. He is attentive to what you want song choice wise but also an equally talented singer and always wants nothing but the best for your special day. If you want a DJ that listens, cares and shows up on time and takes care of more things than he probably should on your wedding day pick Brett. After meeting him we knew he would go above and beyond to make our day perfect and that’s exactly what happened. We got so many compliments that it was the best wedding people had ever been to and we owe it all to him!
