Scythe is our favorite place in Longview! Food is great, beer is great, atmosphere is great! I love that there is NOT TV’s covering every wall. Smokehouse burger and Cauliflower bites are amazing, Cricker Pale Ale and Scyde Swipe IPA are our recommendations but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

We each had two beers and they were excellent versions. The food was very good- my husband had a panini (excellent) and was able to have a side of the chili instead of the usual fries with no up charge. And it was delicious. I had a Cobb salad and it was great. Actual chicken pieces and real bacon! Plenty of blue cheese.
Service was laid back and well done.

We stopped in because we like trying new breweries. We were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and the level of service we received. We also happen to notice a family element in the staff that we also found refreshing.

It’s ALWAYS good here. My favorite is the scythe nachos - they are SO good. One of the best comfort food options in town. They have good cocktails and the vibe is very unique and fun. The service can be hit or miss if it’s busy…but the food and drinks are worth it either way. 🙂 During the summer they also have live music sometimes and patio seating which makes the venue even more fun for dinner and drinks with friends or family.

Decided to give this place a shot because they have lots of gluten free options and we were not disappointed! Our server (I think her name was Caitlyn) was great and the food was delicious. The gluten free bun was actually really good. We'll be back for sure.

Me ,my wife and some friends ate there last night (12/6/24). We showed up right before a big rush of other people and still had pretty good service for the sudden influx. I talked with the owner about my concerns for an old people section with more comfortable chairs. Other than the chairs this place has good food, good drinks and good service.
