This is a wonderful company to work with! I called requesting a tune up for my oil boiler after the previous company I used stopped answering the phone or returning my calls. Ryan Oil was quick to return my call and had me on the schedule for a service call for the following week. Their quote was the most reasonable out of several companies I reached out to. Their technician, Scott, was very knowledgeable and treated my boiler as if it were his own. It turned out that my boiler was not being serviced correctly by the previous company I used as there were more parts on it that needed to be replaced than I expected, however Scott explained to me why he recommended replacing each part and it was clear to me that all of his recommendations were on point. Everything was working correctly when he left, but later that evening I noticed a loud/unusual sound from the boiler. Furthermore, there was a smell of fuel in the basement that did not dissipate by the next morning. I called them back and they were able to get me in touch with their on-call technician (it was Saturday at this point), Gino, and he promptly called me back and was at my house in a little over an hour. Gino quickly identified that the motor on the boiler had gone bad and replaced it. What's more, because it was a call back, the labor to replace the motor was covered. This is a company that stands behind their work. Since Scott and Gino repaired my boiler, it has been running MUCH more efficiently. I have baseboard heat and the bedrooms on the opposite side of the house from the boiler were always on the colder side. Now, the whole house is nice and toasty no matter what room you're in!

Update !! Today is now Feb 26 2025 and Ryan Oil came back to our home (Scott and his assistant) for our annual furnace inspection and cleaning. Both gentlemen were completely professional and courteous! It’s such a relief to know Ryan Oil is such

This fall we needed to contract with a new oil company and a family member recommended Ryan Oil located in Hamden.
From the very first meeting with Mr Ryan I was happy with my decision to go forward with this company!
All the staff I have spoken with have been both courteous and professional.
They have delivered all oil as promised.
They have cleaned my furnace.
However, most recently when we experienced a problem with our hot water heater they worked endlessly to find the problem ( a pin hole in my tank) and then repaired They even found out my tank was still under warranty!
I would highly suggest that if anyone is in need of a heating company that epitomizes honest old fashion work ethics this wonderful family business is a great choice.

Furnace started acting up and they were able to get someone out there within 30 minutes. All of their techs are very informative and helpful, prices are also very fair. Oil delivery is quick too! Highly recommend Ryan Oil for all of your heating/air conditioning needs.

We have been using Ryan Oil for a few years since our former oil company retired. We've always thought it was important to stick with a company for oil and service - and that really worked out this morning when our furnace was trying to turn on but wouldn't.
A call into Ryan Oil brought a technician out a few hours later and diagnosed it as the safety switch. Fixed and we have heat again!
Automatic delivery and prompt return of phone calls is another plus!

We highly recommend this comoany. We have been having problems with our furnace burner since last winter. We had another Oil Company here 3 times and the problem wasn't solved. Finally Mr. Ryan was referred to us. Not only did he finally solve our problem, but he was very helpful in explaining everything to us including how the different oils work. We were very pleased and will be getting oil from him. It's also very nice that he gives a Senior discounts among others.

Ryan oil is reliable. I am one who is a last minute person. As I’m running out of oil, my hot water heater leaked everywhere. They were out in less than an hour. My oil tank was leaking and within a couple days the tank was replaced. I give them 5 stars and would highly recommend them.
