The shipper has scale on site - it really means legal weight and to be exact max legal weight!Don’t get fooled by going there thinking the freight will be 42000 or less, if you ask them when you check in they will be nice and assure you that the weight is 41000 or less, that’s what is going to show on the BOL too but they will lie in your face and on paper. You may hear - if it’s more we will unload some - not true either! Ones the truck is loaded and you get scale surprised, you will be asked - are you sure about your empty weight! The next one is - call the broker, because we don’t count the pallets weight. The pallets weight turned to be 4800 lbs extra /sneaky weight/ not mentioned anywhere.
The scale is there for a reason, make sure you take a picture of the scale.
Another tricky dishonest shipper. Be aware!

32k lb got loaded 32k lb they have scale on site and they did not take long to load great and professional and respectful people if all shippers were the same.

The loading is pretty fast but they deceive you with weight of load. It’s less on a paper for two-four thousands than you have on your trailer.
