It’s not one of the best distilleries in Steamboat, it’s one of the best distilleries in the world. The products and attention to detail are impeccable. When we invite family to try the gin, vodka, and whiskey, they are astounded at the flavors and quality. The tasting room and views are beautiful as well. The cocktails are delicious and aromatic and it’s always a dilemma to decide on choosing between a mixed drink and a neat pour.

We love the vodka so much that we chose it as our gift to guests at our wedding. It was also the main feature at our wedding bar. Brad was incredibly gracious and accommodating in helping us with our order and customizing everything from the flavor to the bottle label. If you are in Steamboat, Routt Distillery is not to be missed.

We did a tasting, and the Gin selection here is incredible! The whiskeys they have are amazing as well! After the tasting, we had a few cocktails, and every one of them were exceptionally balanced and did a great job of featuring the notes in their liquors. We were going to head to another distillery, but we were so pleased we stuck around and had a great afternoon getting to know the owner. Through and through - amazing!

Best whisky in Steamboat hands down. Nuanced and balanced and reminds me of my time in Scotland. The gins are marvelous and exceptional - especially the Winter Gin which tastes like the Spanish-style gins. Also the Sarvis berry gin is rare and unique and just so easy to drink. All of this is made better by the owner and master distiller, Brad, who we just loved talking with and learning from. Bravo!

Awesome place! A stylish establishment with a beautiful view! The owner took us on a tour of his facility and broke down all of the complex processes it took to make his product. The prices are hard to beat with the portions you are given. I recommend doing a flight! I am not really a 'gin person' but this distillery has changed my mind.

Oh Lordy this place is FANTASTIC! You can taste the flavors of each bottle so clearly, it’s clean and fresh and so very delicious! We took home 4 bottles!

So glad we discovered this gem! The tasting room was beautiful, and the owner was welcoming, knowledgeable, and very talented with crafting his spirits and cocktails. He was kind enough to make me a one-of-a-kind non-alcoholic cocktail since I’m pregnant, and my husband and friends raved about the gin and cocktails. Can’t wait to come back!
