Sold me a damaged dresser and refused to refund. Then I found out dresser was recalled for tipping and killing children!! I will never buy from here again. Here’s the story: I bought a dresser that was up against another dresser at time of purchase. I paid and left it there for them to fix a drawer. I went to pick up on a Saturday 15 min before they closed. The guys loaded it into my car and went back inside and the store closed. Then I noticed the dresser was bashed in on the back corner and wasn’t visible because it was hidden at time of purchase by the dresser next to it. They were closed the next two days and by Tuesday I was back at school the week before Christmas and had no time to call them. Dresser rode around for a week in my car and I called on Saturday. I spoke to a manager who was very rude and brisk and not understanding at all. She said she can’t prove that I didn’t cause the damage (Um, what) and I should have called Tuesday. ONLY offered store credit three days before Christmas. I needed the money! She refused a refund. Come to find out..the dresser was from IKEA and had an ACTIVE RECALL for tipping over and killing 13 children. I’m not kidding. I will NEVER buy from this store again.

I've found unusual items (an emerald green storage trunk) as well more typical ones (a recliner) at bargain prices. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They always let me know how glad they are to receive my donations. A couple of times they've picked up large, very heavy items from my house with no problem.

This is hands down my favorite store! They have great stuff here. Furniture, appliances, dining room sets, misc. odds and ends that you always need. Staff are helpful and always quick to offer a friendly suggestion about how to use an item or where you can put items in your home. (Especially when my decorating skills always look like I just stepped out of a dorm room!) Open Wednesday through Saturday 10am to 4pm. Highly recommend this store!

We donated a bedroom set to the Restore. The online process was simple, and we uploaded photos of our donation. We received a phone call a short time later to confirm the details and schedule a pick up date. The young men who came to pick up the furniture were cordial, were careful of our walls, and went out of their way to make it a painless process. I was so impressed that I drove up to the store in Cromwell to leave them each a tip. So happy that we can help the Restore raise money to provide affordable homes for those in need.

I was pleasantly surprised by how fantastic this store looked for a second-hand store. It's so great to have a Restore in this area and giving back to the community. Kudos to Management for such a great job!
