Something happened. Its been a year since ive been at this place. It’s clean…friendly. But the food. What happened? Ordered the breakfast sandwich. It was microwaved. The egg was the consistency of tofu you get in hot n sour soup from a cheap Chinese restaurant. Non crispy bacon some sort of jam to give it flavor. All on a piece of cibatta bread that absorbed the grease. I ordered the coffe cake donut as well. Which tasted like lard covered with way to sweet icing. Not the quality for price im expected. Next time ill pass. In my pictures you will see the horrible quality of this over priced sandwich. Go to Old Salem or to Marshall diner get something made fresh this is an overrated overpriced trap. (Update) after reading other peoples reviews all in the same ballpark. Its obvious the staff/ownership doesnt care

Red Truck Bakery in Marshall, VA has been on my must-visit list for ages, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The charming country store vibe paired with the onsite bakery made for such a delightful experience. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by heavenly aromas that make it impossible to leave empty-handed. I tried the French ham and cheese quiche—absolutely scrumptious and almost tempting enough to buy a whole one to take home! Their selection of pies is incredible, and I couldn’t resist grabbing a fig scone too. I’ll definitely be back to sample more of their delicious treats!

Their logo doesn't exactly stand out and we had to look hard after pulling off the Interstate, but if you want a decently priced cookie that's as big as your hand, this place won't disappoint

I went for the Lone Ranger cookie and it was very nice-soft in the middle and a little crispy around the edges. It could have perhaps benefitted from some more pecans, but it soon disappeared nonetheless

Some of the big cakes looked very nice, but my wife and i would have struggled to eat it in the car

Great bakery! Lemon lime pie and cherry lime muffin were awesome. Go early or order ahead if there is something you really want, like apple pie. We’ll have to order ahead next time too! 🤪

Cute little place on the main street. We ordered 2 of the breakfast sandwiches, a pastry, and iced coffee. The sandwiches are pre-made, so if you don't like the pepper jelly, you're out of luck. The coffee was served black with milk options and sweetener at the counter for you to mix up yourself. Pretty simple set up and gets crowded on the weekend.

A must try. Truly delightful place. The best blueberry pie period! You also must try the lemon blueberry muffins. And the spinach feta croissants are delicious. Everything is very good! The staff in the Marshall location are true professionals from the bakers to the customer service personnel.
The location is very convenient from Interstate 66. You get off and you get right back on. Lots of parking in the back. Thank you Red Truck Bakery for a great experience.

I used to love stopping here for sandwiches on our way to Shenandoah. It was our ritual. The last time I came I was really disappointed. I found the bread to be really dry and skimpy on the meat. Also their prices just seem to have gotten really steep. $19 for a small thing of granola? $35 for a quiche? Might look for a new stop.

We heard the baked goods and sandwiches were worth taking a detour to enjoy; I don't know if they were just having a bad day, but the sandwiches we ordered were definitely old/stale, and the "special" brownies that day were not fresh at all and had dry, hard edges. The people were great and service cheerful - but the food didn't live up to the expectations for Red Truck.
