My mother spent almost a year at Ravenswood Village. I felt so blessed to know she was loved and cared for as if she were family. Every staff member from the nurses to the cooks were empathetic, loving, patient, and so concerned with both the physical and emotional well being of every resident. I lost my mother recently and the tears shed by the staff and residents was so touching. I will be visiting often even though my mother is gone. What a blessing to have this facility and staff!

I live out of state, and knowing a high school classmate working there, and friends from back home staying there, I always felt at ease. Both of my parents stayed there and at one time they were even accommodated to stay in the room together. I thought it was very cool! My mother was blind and needed a lot of help. My dad, was a great guy but in his old age I’m sure he could be a little cantankerous at times. From what I could tell they were very patient with them. I visited several times a year and the entire staff was helpful. It was so convenient to check my dad out, wheel him across the street, and down Orchard Dr. where we had lived. The classmate I mentioned earlier, we shared home room and even chess club together in high school, old friends to say the least, is Rhonda Murrey. For me, because of that, I always felt my parents were safe. In ending I must give a sincere thank you to Rhonda!

My mother has been at the Ravenswood Village for about a year now. The care she gets is exceptional. I really appreciate the staff for all they do as I know that the level of care needed, by those that reside there, is quite high. It is difficult to attend to all the needs of the elderly but they get the job done. God bless the staff. It takes special people to work in a nursing home.

Ravenswood Village seems to be exactly that; a village of people taking care of, looking after, providing medical care for, counseling and encouraging the older population to the next stage of their lives. My mother has made her home there now; it hasn't been easy for her to leave her home. But, many of the personnel from office staff, kitchen, the health care workers, janitors, and many in the community would encourage her to "try it just one more month". No, the transition wasn't easy for her or the family, but now after 4 years, she has made it her home. Of course, everything hasn't been what I would want or what my mother would want, but The Ravenswood Village and all of the characters there have welcomed her to their home, also. Now that my sister and I are in our 70's and experiencing our own health issues, we would never be able to provide the same kind of care that she receives at the Village. Our mother is in the best place. We are so thankful that we had the Village to help us with our mother. A 5 star rating, especially during the Pandemic, wouldn't cover our gratitude.

I contacted Ravenswood Village to inquire about what services might be offered for my elderly mother. I spoke with Rhonda in admissions. She was so helpful. She clearly explained my options and was very compassionate about my situation. Based on the experiences of friends and my research, I would recommend.

Had to get rehabilitation and I chose Ravenswood Village because it was closest to home. I had excellent care and the staff went out of their way to make sure of my safety and treated me exceptionally well. I recommend not only for a elderly home but best rehab too.

My husband received a call on a Sunday morning from one of the aides and she tells him his mother is about to die as she has the smell of death about her. As we live out of state he got a cousin to check on his mother and she was fine!!!!!!!!!! She had eaten breakfast and lunch and was chatting with his cousin. That was months ago and she is still alive. Can't believe that someone would do that, unprofessional and frankly cruel.
