This historic building recently sold ($50k supposedly, asking was $99k). This old power generator building has been a local landmark for more than a century now. The unfortunate graffiti comes and goes. This is one of the remaining buildings left from the Raleigh coal camp. The stucco house to the left of this building was a supervisor or visitor house. In the other side of the creek and railroad tracks is a large yellow building that was a general service building, School, meeting house, movie theater, doctors office, payroll office, etc.
This power station is in the process of being rescued and made safe.
