Yes, there is good pay and decently flexible scheduling. Although there is a bit of a strict dress code for how hot the weather is, and you can’t have any form of music, that is not why I am giving Rader 1 star. Here’s what caused my decision: Since applying to the farm me and my cousins had said we would be leaving for 10 days towards the end of the season. A few days before this time came around, one of the managers asked if we could work a full day the day before we left. We said “No, only the morning,” and she said she understood and would put us there. The day before this particular Tuesday, we were informed everyone would be working a full day, even though it did not say this on the schedule. We brought this up to the two other managers there on Monday and they said that we weren’t told by the other manager that we would only work morning shift, as if we made it up, and we could not take tomorrow off. At home, we decided to call them and state that we weren’t informed of the change in the schedule and had no choice but to take the day off if we couldn’t work half day. The manager that had picked up was unreasonable and did not believe we were misinformed. She was rude to my cousin, told us that this is unacceptable and would be our last day working there, as if we weren’t already leaving for vacation, and abruptly hung up, then proceeded to tell the other manager that was with her that my cousin was the rude one. This is how we were treated after being extremely flexible all season to accommodate their needs and being told we were some of their best workers. This is unacceptable and infuriating that a manager would treat us like this for a mixup we did not cause.
