Ordered a cab rack and rear cargo rack for my pickup back in February. Eventually received a product that was manufactured incorrectly (their words). No problem, mistakes happen. Sent it back and received the replacement ten weeks later. Any ladders or pipe placed atop these two products lays directly on the roof of my pickup, necessitating the use of wood blocks on the cab rack in order to raise the cargo to a more appropriate height. Brought to the attention of Protech customer service with provided pictures. For about two and a half months I’ve been told that “engineers are looking into the design”. For six months now I have had $1200 worth of Protech products on my pickup that do not serve the only function for which they were specifically designed and Protech will hardly even respond much less take any action to address the issue. Small potatoes to them I know but after 17 years of buying these products, this will be the last money I ever spend with Protech.

The company it's self makes great product but this store is a joke. They lied to me every week after the deadline about that the my toolbox will be shipped that Friday. They did that for two weeks after the deadline. When I ordered the box the gave me the option to either do stock freight or pay for it to get it a week early. I needed it a week early so I said I would pay for it. Since they were two weeks late I asked for them to cover the freight since I didn't get it when I needed it. They also told the company that I ordered it from that it was their (the company I ordered from) responsibility to cover the freight not their owns. Horrible customer service. I will never order from the Vancouver store again!

Ordered 2 cab racks on September 13 and was told a 4-6 week lead time, which included design drawings. Drawings were finally provided after ~4 weeks and immediately approved. It's now November 19 and Pro Tech representatives are indicating that my order has not been started and it will be an additional 6 weeks to manufacture, which puts it 16 weeks after initial order was placed. Customer Service representative even suggested that I shop elsewhere because they were unable to fulfill orders.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Had questions about powder coating a new box I just purchased and the sales rep said " we just don't do that" with a snotty tone and then hung up on me. I will not be purchasing anything from protech again.

I went here to buy a small piece of aluminum diamond plate for a personal project. I am in the metal trade but for some foolish reason the company I worked at wouldn't sell me a small piece and acted weird. I came here and these guys took care of our request. It's been a few years but what I made is still functioning on our boat.
