I would like to give a HUGE shout out to Gabriel, the night security guard! I asked him a simple question about restrooms and he proceeded to treat me like a citizen! Unlike many situations where people choose to be angry,negative and demonstrative, Gabriel showed he is an excellent human. Kind, thoughtful and courteous he is!

I have had many dealings with the Port. They have been my tenant and I am their tenant. We have had times of cooperation and times of conflict. I think they are a great organization. The Port's leadership consistently acts with the best interests of Anacortes in mind. For the port staff and the commissioners it is not always easy to see the right path through the political haze and the piles of misinformation that applicants lay before them but they do a good job anyway. They are a huge benefit to our community.

Staff is very friendly and tries to accommodate requests. Grounds and facilities are very clean and well maintained. Pricing is pretty much the same as everywhere else.

A fellow boater and my self found some chat time in the men's shower room. One late evening. While staying at POS or rather POA. The showers at that time weren't shut down at night. well within my morage rental agreement for the one night stay. This fellow boater and I were telling lies and tall tells of the sound when in the shower room door came a rental kid armed with a flashlightt and told me that I and my wife had better vacat now or he would call the other rental cops APD. To witch the other gentlemen replied. He's got us married!? We had not even been to jail with each other yet and Opy Taylor here has got us married. We laughed at him and carried on laughing as I walked out to never return to POS again

Small world port. Need to get rid of the white tent. NOT friendly to the neighborhood in Cape Santa. Otherwise they do a great job at Cape Santa Marina.
