Buyer beware, don’t use Plains heating and cooling for any HVAC needs. In April, Jocelyn quoted me at $500 to move my AC unit for a separate project. When I got the invoice yesterday, It said $600 and an additional $200 for a Freon refill.

The Freon charge is understandable, but when I called the company to correct the issue with the $100 difference, Pam answered and offered to forward me the invoice written in April and have Jocelyn call me. I agreed, but mentioned I was frustrated that I had been told one thing and charged another. I told her I had felt I had been lied to. Pam immediately changed her tone to one of confrontation. She told me if I wished to speak with Jocelyn, I should watch my words and be careful how I speak to her if I wanted an agreement to be reached. She threatened that I shouldn’t “throw accusations around” otherwise their company wouldn’t help me. I'd accept the defensive behavior if I was aggressive, but I had only expressed that I felt betrayed.

It’s clear I paid an additional $100 to know that Plains Heating and cooling thinks of their customers. I’d recommend using a company from the city next time instead.

Had a guy come out to service my furnace and he was very rude and didn't seem to know much about hvac. While he was cleaning the unit with a shop vac he had hit the control board and knocked a soldered piece off. So the guy basically told me I need to buy a new control board in order for my furnace to work again. Keep in mind my furnace worked perfectly fine before this guy went down with his shop vac. He insisted I buy a $400 + part and have him install it on top of $130 an hour. He put the blame on me and raised his voice at which I told him to leave my property. To top it all off I was able to fix the control board myself when a "professional" hvac serviceman couldn't; even when he broke it himself. Very unprofessional. Embarrassing honestly. What a joke.

A couple of weeks ago, my furnace blower fan was malfunctioning. I called Plains Heating with hopes I could get it fixed before Labor Day. Calling on a Monday, I didn't think I was going to get service that day, but the person I talked to (Brian) was able to fit me in for an appointment in the afternoon. He was also very attentive in calling me periodically throughout the morning to let me know when I could expect a member of their team to arrive.

They we're able to diagnose the problem and get a replacement part ordered that day. I got a call Wed morning telling me it was in and asked if they could stop by real quick to install it. No only were they quick, but I learned a lot about HVAC during the process. I'm extremely satisfied with their service and attention to detail. I will definitely call them again should I need HVAC service.

I called and was told they would be out to service my tankless heater in the next few days. They never showed and never called. I called back and was told they would make me a priority. No call, no show. Three weeks went by and when I called to follow up, the front desk girl, Payton, said things like this while I was on the phone, “I’ve got some lady named Heidi or whatever on the phone and she said she has been waiting for her tankless heater to be serviced or something?” Then she gets back on the phone and tells me that the guy doesn’t know when he can get to it and to call someone else. If I could give them negative stars, I would. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Forced us to install a New furnace on a day nobody was home. Had my grandmother come over and wait on them, she waited for an hour then they finally showed up took out the old furnace out then they took a lunch break after they got back from lunch they installed our new furnace when they install their new furnace they put holes in the wall of our stairs
I am LIVID!!!!
Completely unacceptable

They did agree to fix it so that’s good
