I first saw Doctor Phillips in 1999 after struggling with symptoms of Lyme disease and two years of seeing other doctors. By the grace of God and the Greenwich support groups referral I found that he was treating cases of chronic Lyme. It took a year to find the right treatment for me. Doctor Phillips never gave up on me. He truly saved my life. I know you all have your own stories but I was so ill I couldn't even get out of bed. He still continues his practice and I would recommend that you see him if you are still struggling with your health. Dr. Phillips is the most compassionate, knowledgeable, well-researched doctor I have ever met. He saved my life multiple times and I am forever grateful for him. He has so much knowledge that at age 30 I still bring my parents to the doctor's appointments just so that we are all able to remember the detailed information he shares. He does not take insurance and the appointments are expensive but I feel 100% confident that every penny is not only worth it but also being used to help further his research and knowledge on the subject of Lyme. Dr Phillips is an exceptional doctor. He is extremely caring. He and his staff are all wildly knowledgeable about vector borne illness.

The cost, though maybe higher than some other doctors on paper, is not high when you factor in the level of care/follow up they provide at little to no cost along the way.

It is clear they understand that their patients are going through nuanced, life-altering illness and they are willing to spend the time navigating through each person’s complex situation to find the right solutions.

I went to Dr Phillips over 20 years ago after suffering with Lymes for a year- doctors refused to treat me beyond the usual protocol, which didn’t work . I was despondent and wondered if I would ever get better. There was very limited info and resources back then. But somehow I found out about Dr Phillips online. In those Y2K days, an appointment with him was only $400 ! To me at the time it was a lot of money, still.
But he saved my life, I beat Lymes within the year with his very simple treatment protocol.
The whole thing only cost me $400, plus some cheap antibiotics specifically chosen for me.

Now I’m back leaving a review 20 years later, as a happy healthy human, thanks to him- because a friend of mine is suffering now with Lymes and I am recommending him to her.
Even though the price has of course risen, it’s 20 years later and he is still at the top of his game. I would pay it in a heartbeat if I ever contracted Lymes again.
I feel terrible for those that can’t afford him, but I hope the industry has evolved since 2000 … maybe there are other great drs now. And hopefully his research will become more o me the industry standard as time goes on.

I would love to see Dr. Phillips - it's likely he could help me. But at $1600 to $2000 for the first visit and $600 for follow ups, it seems that his path to health is only for the rich. Having my health back is priceless, but I cannot pull money out of thin air. Very disappointed that his expertise isn't available to me.
