I am visiting from California and had to find a nail salon to remove and replace the acrylic set of nails that I had done before leaving on my trip.

Phalla Nails & Spa was close to where I was staying and I felt that it was the best choice.

Well, I hit the jackpot. I would highly recommend this salon if you want to pamper yourself. They do prefer appointments but take walk in’s if time allows. So, I would highly recommend calling first. I did. And was able to get right in when I arrived.

Very knowledgeable and outstanding work. I would definitely be a regular customer if I lived here.

Wanted to get a French manicure to match my bag. First time going here and love the color and result, especially the shape on the thumbs! Not the most upscale and had to switch ladies halfway through to someone who could do the French tip. She had excellent technique for the French tips though. Overall pleasant experience and would go again. Can’t beat for price ($40 for gel removal and French gel manicure).

I work in kitchens, I'm VERY hard on my hands. I came in here looking RAGGEDY... no judgement at all. The whole staff is so sweet, and they did an amazing job. I got acrylics done for the first time, the first time I came in. I had them refilled, and then tonight I decided to get them taken off. I felt pampered, even when they were just removing the acrylics. I can't stress enough how sweet the whole staff is. I never want to go to any other nail salon again. Only this one from now on!

This establishment is extremely unprofessional. I called to make an appointment and upon arrival was told what I asked for (SNS with tips) was something they can’t do, which is absurd, and that my other request for a full set was only a refill. Clearly there’s a lapse in communication. I also was told if my nails get messed up I only have two days to come back with an issue, otherwise they don’t care. Would NOT recommend.

Gel manicure for my daughter which came out amazing. The pedicures are outstanding. There hasn’t been a service that I have received that I didn’t absolutely love! I highly recommend Phallah Nails!!!

Very clean and calm nail spa. The owner is great and does nails very well. He is pleasant and helpful if you’re not decisive about nail colors. For the pedicure they do charge an extra $15 for gel polish which I find to be a little expensive. You can buy two bottles of gel polish for $15. But nevertheless, I like the quality of work I get with my UV gel service.

Very friendly staff and very clean ! I love when places use the individual plastic bowl coating in the pedicure tubs. They are hands down the best place to go for pedicures their packages are very affordable in my opinion for everything they include! I also am very grateful that more times then not i can call the day of and they can get me in! Highly recommend coming here!

What a great hidden gem! I wanted a full acrylic set and I was able to call on a Saturday morning to get an appointment for that afternoon. They took me right on time and did a great job. The technician was very thorough and I didn’t feel like anyone was rushing to get me in and out. It was only $33 for the full set (regular polish) and they turned out perfect. I hadn’t been getting my nails regularly done for a while since many places in New Haven are very expensive, but I plan to keep coming back here!
