Fantastic shop. Cliff is utterly brilliant; he kindly helped out with a last minute brake repair, and so saved my CO trip from disaster in the process.
The shop also has some sweeeet vintage MTB memorabilia to drool over too… Highly recommend.

My hub failed in a through-ride of the CT. Cliff, the Silverton store owner, was prepping early morning (7:00am) for an all-day ride with friends at his shop. I walked down to see the store and it’s possible capabilities expecting no one to be there there. Cliff graciously opened his shop on the spot and put my bike on a stand. He quickly identified the problem, tore it down, made the repair to keep me going. With his help and professional ability, I was able to finish the CT with my friends.

We rented a pair of electric-assist mountain bikes from Pedal the Peaks. The bikes were a huge help for us in keeping up with locals on the trails.

The service from Pedal the Peaks was fantastic. The bikes worked flawlessly. Cliff, the store owner, was very patient in getting us set up and explaining the nuances of these ebikes. His enthusiasm for and knowledge of Silverton biking is amazing and contagious.

Cliff has been the most knowledgeable and honest shop owner in the area for more than ten years, and his ability and willingness to explain new technology and diagnose issues is unmatched. I've ridden thru Silverton three years in a row while completing the CT on a bicycle. Each time Cliff has been super accommodating with my minor issues to keep my roll going. Bravo! It's great to have him on the trail. Stuff wears out and breaks but if it's fixable and you make it to Silverton you should be able to finish the ride! Check the shop's schedule because they aren't open all week. This is a satellite shop for the Durango Pedal the Peaks...

Just stopped in on my way out of town, Cliff the store owner is genuinely a good guy and was a pleasure to just chat with. If you want info on biking anything in the San Juan’s, he’s the guy to ask! Stoked to see the progress of Silverton bike trails in the years to come.
