Pleasantly surprised with this Co Op. I went in 3x today just to keep looking at different things. First, I love that they have composting and recycling outside of the building, as well as composting paper from the bathrooms. Every place should do this and our waste problems in this country would be alleviated greatly. Second, I love that the produce is organic and much of it is local. Third, I love the bulk bins for food, spices, herbs, and liquids. Good vibes in the store, kind employees, and the Layout of the store is well organized.

I grabbed a few bags of groceries from here.There are a variety of fresh fruit when you walk in as well as a seating area to the right to eat from their cafe, pizzeria, and misc hot food. They had most of what I needed. The layout of the store works well as customers moved around with ease. It’s a nice, clean, and well organized store.

Literally just watched an employee organize the shopping carts, and the last cart he pushes in has a giant unfolded dirty napkin inside of it so he leaves it there. Makes two rows of carts Then walks back inside to take a water break. A bunch of customers lineup for the row of cards that are clean. Everyone is avoiding the row of cards with the head card having that big dirty napkin inside it so everyone is cute up because an employee decided not to do their job. Otherwise the store is nice. The food is good.

I always feel just a bit pretentious when I'm at this PCC. That feeling isn't the fault of PCC, it's likely because it is in Issaquah after all. ; ) I can say that ... I live in the Highlands.

The staff are very friendly, helpful and kind and this is something you should expect. When comparing prices to their competition in the area, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods via Amazon Prime Now 2 hour grocery delivery and Safeway, PCC loses in every way. PCC however wins on variety against the LOCAL brick and mortar stores. The variety I'm speaking of is for organic, vegetarian, or vegan. For example, if you want strawberries, PCC will be $6.99 for a pack, Safeway 3.99, Trader Joe's $3.99 or $2.99. However if you want Vegetarian or Vegan Lasagna, PCC will have several, whereas Safeway or Trader Joe's will have 1 to 2 options.

For me price wins Every time before variety and PCC prices are simply to high when the same times are cheaper within a 5 minute drive.

My first pcc experience was underwhelming. Expected more from the reviews I read and things I’d heard but felt like a Trader Joe’s with a big deli. Bought a Pecan pie and a pumpkin pie ($20 each) and both were horrible. The pumpkin was tossed after a single bite. One guest had a slice of pecan and managed a few bites before opting for some ice cream instead. Buttermilk rolls were passable but not worth repeating.

Review for café/deli food here only:

Stopped here to pick up a coffee and breakfast snack while my tires were being installed at Costco. Seems like a usual co-op, but the sourdough cheese bagel I got from the café case was so stale I could barely pull it apart. Should have been dried into croutons or something rather than sold as a bagel. On top of thr staleness, the taste was bland and as well. Drip coffee was fine. I had higher hopes.

Went today for the 1st time and really love it. Has alot of convenience foods, cheese, meat, bakery items, and produce. They have alot of organic and vegan alternatives, and speciality items. A little pricey but better quality than the average grocery store

Writing this review sitting at PCC and drinking my morning coffee here. PCC is the only place this morning after a severe storm that opened there doors with hot coffee, breakfast and amazing WiFi. While the whole area is still in darkness, PCC is making our community comfortable and safe. Thank you PCC team!
