Awesome Chest holster! I just received mine today, and Man! This thing is better than expected! The holster is incredibly well made with meticulous attention to detail, the fit on my chest is very comfortable and the draw angle is spot on perfect. The holster holds my gun nice and secure, the thumb break strap works great and I can draw my pistol smooth as silk with no hang up whatsoever. Another thing I love about this holster is the adjustability of it, you can wear it high on the chest so it doesn't get in the way of a backpack, or adjust it down lower and off to the side similar to a shoulder holster and either way it's equally comfortable and easy to draw your pistol, another thing I really like about this holster is it's designed so it doesn't press against the mag release button on a semi-auto like some of the other holsters are notorious for, so even the mag is secure. In other words it's definitely a well thought out holster design.
Gordon is a great guy to work with, very polite and professional.

I received my leather chest holster today before the expected delivery date. I am blown away by the attention to detail and the functionality of the design. The leather itself is top quality. It feels smooth and rigid with beautiful coloring and precise stitching. Mine happened to fit my Glock 20 without any ziploc trick or break in period. The nylon webbing is smoother than expected and seems very durable. It keeps the holster tight to the body without sacrificing movement or comfort. The nylon’s ability to fold up and tuck away neatly with the holster is a personal plus I didn’t think about until coming across this holster. Wearing it just feels right, dispersing the weight of the firearm with an intuitive draw angle. I’m most excited about the thumb break. It is slick. Longevity is to be determined but I have no doubts. I hike/backpack all over Montana and, coincidentally, often through the section of Absaroka range in Paradise Valley. Overall, I’m quite pleased with this holster. I’ll put it to the test and if I ever do need another one, I will surely be getting it from Paradise Valley Leather.

Absoultley thrilled! Took a couple of weeks to get my .460 holster. Just like the website says, but well worth the wait. Fits like a glove, very comfortable, the only way to carry that size hand gun comfortably...and it is very comfortable! Communication was good and product was perfect! Can't ask for much more. They are worthy of the review!

I take reviews seriously as I depend on them for my online purchase. So I wait until I have real information to review before leaving one.
If you prefer the short, I love my holster and recommend it to everyone. Read on if you prefer more.
I purchased my paradise valley leather holster about 2 months ago. I had just purchased a Springfield TRP long slide in 10mm. Shortly after, I discovered finding a holster for this gun was a challenge. Really I was only coming up with one option from another company. I research everything tirelessly and contacted several other companies claiming to make "custom" holsters. I can tell you, all but 2 said they didn't really do that sort of work, but could modify something that was close. That didn't work for me. When you spend big money on a top shelf gun, you want a proper holster, period. The 2 that could make a holster needed my gun shipped to them TO MAKE A MOLD. And they were very pricey. So I kept looking for other options, and then I came across a youtube video looking at a gun review, and the guy had A Paradise Valley Leather Holster he mentioned. So to Google I went, and found their sight. It was obvious from the get go Paradise Valley Leather was a small company, and with further reading I found that the company IS VETERAN OWNED. I called and got voicemail, specifically stating it is best to reach them via email, but calls would be returned as soon as possible. For me, this wasn't a turn off as I too own a small business and understand sometimes the phone rings faster than you can answer. So I emailed him. I found a response in the inbox the next day answering questions and assuring he could do the work, but his product was handmade and could take up to 8 weeks. I went online and placed my order with them as the price was reasonable, and I like dealing with smaller companies, especially veteran owned.
A couple days later I received a phone call from this company asking details about what I was wanting and how they were going to accommodate me. This showed me they actually cared about their product and wanted it to be right. At this point I knew I had found what I was looking for. The holster showed up 4 weeks later. I can say it is very well made. The leather was well crafted and fit my TRP like a glove. I never had a chest holster before and didn't know what to expect in the adjustments. Turns out it's easy. I had it all adjusted and where I liked it in less than 5 minutes. Finally I got to take it out to the woods for its first test run. I found it very comfortable walking, bending, stooping, crouching. It really didn't move much at all during the entire event. Even used a latrine shovel to drop some salt blocks in hunting areas. The holster, with the gun in it didn't hang in the way, wasn't swinging around, and pretty well stayed put. I drawed the gun a few times too see how it worked out. Again, never owning a chest holster, I wasn't sure what to expect having never drawn from one. I'm pleased to say I had not a single problem drawing and getting on target. Some practice will be needed to be really proficient, but that is from my limitations and not limitations imposed by the holster. Obviously this holster is well designed and was exactly what I needed for the purpose I purchased it for, brown bear country trips, and local hunting.
Overall, I'm very impressed with how well made this holster is, and how comfortable it is for wearing long term.
If you purchase from Paradise Valley Leather, and I recommend highly that you do, I'm sure you'll find you can't go wrong.
