The owner at Panhandle Fabrication & Machine is extremely unprofessional. I was going to get some work done here because they don't have a backlog of work before they can get to your project, unlike the other, busier machine shops in town. However, I will not be doing that, as the owner does not seem to be able to conduct business in a professional manner. Now I know why they don't have any work. Avoid at all costs!

Edit to owners response:

Firstly, l most certainly did have drawings! In fact, the owner said, and I quote "My engineer is remote, so he needs drawings to do the quote. And I have to pay him for each quote". So, riddle me this; how did I get a phone call from the owner with a quote if I didn't have drawings to submit?

Secondly; The piece I needed them to make for me was not a "contraption". It was a small piece of a larger $350,000 fully automated gummy production line. Due to the fact that we are a candy manufacturer and we do indeed make all types of gummies, including vitamin, hemp, supplement, etc!

The owner called me to give me a quote, I approved the quote from the drawing I had sent and The owner got aggravated with me when I explained to him that the whole drawing was accurate. All I needed them to do was replicate the thread from a physical item they had in their position. He told me I was changing the entire project at that point and got very upset with me on the phone in a very very unprofessional manner and then hung up on me.

So, again deal with this company at your own risk.

Every single part was within tolerance with lead times much faster than anyone else in town. Great communication between the owner and I. Very very professional. Will continue to order from them again.

The previous complainer had no drawings or prints. Also he stated that the contraption he wanted us to work on was going to be an attempt by him to manufacture CBD gummy‘s. That is work we are not interested in doing.
