I am not sure if they are open during this crisis but I was so happy to see the P & M starts at a local grocery store today. Knowing that they are still working to make sure that we can all still grow our own flowers, herbs and produce this summer is wonderful! With the kids stuck at home during this “hunker down” period, growing starts is a perfect activity to keep them occupied. I’ve been a customer of P & M for two decades and I feel so fortunate to have such a great place to escape to right in Eagle River. Their selection is extensive and they are always so helpful and kind. They carry many varieties of trees and shrubs as well. Over the spring and summer, I think potted flowers and plants make excellent gifts, you will not be disappointed with the choices you will find at P & M. Support Alaskan grown products, especially now during this crisis!

Spring 2022: Starts are started! The greenhouses are brimming with growth and it is time to get in early and collect what you need to brighten the yard as soon as the weather cooperates.

Love this green house. Staff is always helpful. Plants are healthy. Always lifts the spirit. Went to a wedding here awhile back and it was a great venue.

They have a huge selection of plants, and the prices are so good as well. The greenhouse wasn’t open when I went, but if it’s anything like the houseplant side, it’s amazing.

Everyone that works here is friendly and helpful. They have a wide selection of plants for indoors and outdoors. Come spring their hanging baskets are not only lovely but have interesting combinations of flowers. There are also birdhouses and other yard ornaments for sale.
I stop by this greenhouse every year. They not only have a large selection of hanging baskets of beautiful flowers there are also vegetable plants, a wide variety of ornamental plants, house plants, roses, ferns, annuals and perennials with many verities of each kind. The plants at the greenhouse all look healthy and they supply many of our local stores with a variety of plants to sell. The staff are very friendly and helpful. So if you ever find yourself in Eagle River Alaska it’s well worth the stop, it’s easy to find with easy access right off the road. Enjoy!
